[OP-05] Why is NOBODY talking about this deck?! (deck profile + gameplay) - One Piece Card Game

I had this idea last night and have been toying around with it. Searched youtube to see if anyone else has explored it. May make a video soon on it cause its such a fun deck. I have a slight bit of variation on my end but core is almost the same.

Interesting concept, but both Dragons are susceptible to almost every kind of removal (cost 3-5, power 0) so keeping them on board will be incredibly difficult.

Lo and behold, I just played against this deck for the first time in the SIM. Never saw it before and was not expecting this deck. The removal is pretty crazy and kinda comes out of nowhere. That being said, I was playing Enel and he checks this deck. This deck is a little slow against him and Ohm + Holy combo works well here. 8c Katakuri also helps with getting rid of the Celestial Dragons.

Resting the dragons with sugar or spider web are prob the closes thing to removal, posting enough bodies on the board to be able to swing the rested dragon. I don’t play GP doffy, just assuming it might help

Zephyr is a much better leader. You get to for 9 k.o. 10 drop with Bracio Bomber. And Zephyr alone can k.o. 9 drops with the 5 cost dragon. I have added CP9 package Kalifla and Rob Lucci(rush) just to add some game enders. Top Knot is really good for cards you cannot k.o. like Borsolino and such

Can this deck beat yellow? It's a good build and I'm tempted to try it but I think it'll have a hard time with Law, Sakazuki, and Enel decks

It kind of loses to everything that plays removal, but you could tech in the other celestial dragons to help deal with that, vs yellow it’s a little bit too slow, especially against enel

I love the build it just seems heavy defensive to me also the celestial dragons are susceptible to a lot of removal from other decks. I feel as if this build specifically would dominate nami

I’d definitely consider it, this was kind of a first draft so a lot of things could get optimised for sure, problem is that you would have to block with her right away so that you only have celestial dragons on board

Interesting deck Just some feedback: During the deck profile, please move your facecam to a different space on the screen because it conveniently blocks the cards when you highlight them. Makes it a bit more difficult to follow along especially as not everyone may know what these cards do (since they're either new or a bit more obscure).

Curious what would happen if they didn’t play any cards on the board and went for full DON swings and leave a few up for potential counters? This would obviously be metagaming and assuming the deck profile that you’re running. It was a fun video to watch, knowing Luffy had no way of taking off that dragon off the board is scary lol.

I mean... It's cool, but I think if you played it for longer you'd find it really struggling. It came down to your opponent not drawing the right cards against the luffys. Against Sakazuki this would do absolutely nothing because you would get your board cleared every turn if you even got to play anything.
