THIS IS MAJESTIC BRUH

Mungyo gallery are my favorite cheaper pastels, and I actually like them more than Sennelier for now. They are stiffer, but still sooo creamy, and the colors are consistently opaque, whereas Sennelier has a lot of transparent ones which is hard for me to use and figure out how to take advantage of. Also you can get Mungyo to go down thicker, but sennelier feels like it wants to go down thin. Paul Ruben’s feels very creamy and you can get really thick strokes too, but the transparency is inconsistent, similar to Sennelier. But the texture of Paul Rubans is inconsistent too, and several colors seem to go down patchy. But that’s just my experience and I’ve only tried the macaroon set (beautiful colors btw). Apparently I could write a book with my limited experience 😂

Such gorgeous art! I was wondering, would you recommend the Moleskine over the Leuchtturm for alcohol markers? Does one blend better than the other, or one feather a thin ink line more than the other? I can't decide which to get, i use alcohol markers, fineliners/inks and coloured pencils. I want to use alcohol markers more, my current sketchbook feathers with alcohol markers so i can't get crisp lines so I'm searching for a new one.

I also glue pages together like that! I prefer thinner paper for pencil drawings, but also don't like having different sketchbooks for different media, so if I decide to paint on a page or use markers I'll glue it to the page behind to make it a bit sturdier or cover any bleedthrough.😅

Those are exspensive as hell talk about a winning gift and I’ve used cheap in store fine liners before with alchohol markers and they never smudged so I’m confused what have I been doing wrong
