This song is by Reverend Fred Small, and he should be given credit! Thanks for performing it so beautifully.

John Denver's wonderful composition performed so movingly. This chorus would have made him proud.

What a fantastic performance! I'm desperately trying to get my hands on this arrangement. Do you know where I can acquire a copy?
@dannyonstl5 жыл бұрын
I'm not sure. I believe the arrangement was by the late Neal Richardson but I'm not sure who handles his catalog at this point.

I participated in GALA 2012 in Quarryland Men's Chorus. While performing at GALA was an astounding experience, being present at Heartland's show drove home what this all really means. As a straight ally, I initially felt unsure of my role but resolved to open myself up to whatever the experience gave to me. During this performance, I was astonished to find myself moved to helpless tears along with everyone who was there; love and loss, grief and triumph are universal. What a moment.

I too just teared up again. I heard and saw this at the GALA festival in Denver . This is so tragic. We need to let the youth around you know that we are here to help. Life does get better!

I teared up again watching this and remembering the effect it had on me and every one around me. What a wonderfully heartfelt performance. I won't ever forget this moment in my life either.

I sang with Diverse Harmony when I was in high school and it was such an inspiration to me then and even now! It's incredible to see how much the group has grown since my time there and I'm extremely glad to see that it is doing so well. Bravo to all the singers and the artistic director!!!

You guys were great. What a blessing it is for you all to be out (or supporting if you are Straight Allies) at your age. I am sure you realize that most of us in the audience at your age thought we were the only gay person out there. The Pink song definitely brought tears to my eyes especially to hear you guys singing which in affect affirmed that you and all of us are okay being who we are instead of feeling we are as "less than" if we are GLBT or otherwise...

You are very welcome! You guys are just GREAT! I am so sorry that I missed your first performance in the Youth Chorus Block (when you performed like thirteen songs, I think). We were performing in another theatre at the time and I was so aggravated that we were scheduled that way. I really wanted to hear all your stuff. Was especially wanting to hear your performance of F#*@!n' Perfect. If anyone has video of that, I hope they post it! Anyway, congratulations on a great performance!
