Hi Guys I've followed your success journey over the last few years, with the glowing reviews from both critics and users for multiple products. Keep up the good work 👏 As someone who has been enviously eye-ing up the EVO 150 for my very modest mid-terraced property, could I just ask about a couple of doubts that I've been wrestling over. Firstly, the primary use of the Marantz 611 all-in-one unit I currently have is for playing ClassicFM on dab+. This is my default station. My jumping off point for whatever input I might wish to switch to, but often can be my only port of call on many a day. How will listening to ClassicFM via internet compare with the 64kbps stereo that I currently receive via dab+. It seems crazy to make a big leap forward in terms of product quality, but for the ClassicFM stream to drop below the 64kbps. Hopefully, you can confirm this is not the case. Also, tied in with this, is the bitrate fixed, or a dynamic bitrate that adjusts automatically dependent upon the quality of the WiFi signal, because unfortunately as it stands, it will be via WiFi rather than Ethernet 😪 . Secondly, could you confirm that you can have both sets of speakers, A and B, playing at the same time? If so, do they have individual volume controls, like my current Marantz, which I find as a great bonus. If not, would this be something that could be implemented via a firmware update further down the line, because that would be awesome. I would be very grateful if someone on the team could answer these queries for me, and I too can join the Cambridge Audio success story. My best wishes to the team moving forwards. It struggles to connect to my CXN V2. The solution has been to connect apple music first 😮and then the app can find the device…Make it better!

I live in the UK and ClassicFM radio is my default starting point when I turn on my Marantz 611 all-in-one unit. It's my station of choice for background listening whilst I'm flitting about. Some days it's all that I listen to, but it's my starting point for jumping into whatever input I decide to change too. With that in mind, it would be a deal-breaker if the Evo 150, that I'm seriously considering does not have the ability to play ClassicFM via the Internet Radio input, or via another input if available. Can anyone confirm whether ClassicFM is present on the 150, and does it work well and is the sound quality good ie. better than DAB+. Apologies in advance for hijacking this thread,albeit another Cambridge Audio product. Thanks for reading. Kind regards Martin

About to order these, but based on comments I've read, please consider the following for a higher-end model: • Deeper, replaceable earcups • Design that folds inward like DCA Aeon headphones • Planar drivers (60-70mm), angled like Focal • Some internal "Meta" material like KEF speakers for better passive noise cancellation • Better ANC (e.g. one that can sample train & wind noise and specifically filter that out) • Wireless dongle for higher res playback, maybe with built-in DAC like the Dragonfly • More colors! e.g. PX8 Royal Burgundy, McLaren Edition I'd pay $200 more for something like that. Just food for thought for the product team :)

Anyone saying that CD’s sound better than lossless streaming are unaware of the Laws of Physics. Now if your personal preference is a slightly more LoFi type of sound for whatever reason then that’s your thing, but there’s no CD that has the fidelity of true lossless streaming. None. It’s all in your mind whatever difference you think you perceive. Period, sorry to ruin your reality, but if CD’s are your preference, have at it.

How about Apple Music?

Wish Cambridge had customer service in USA. Can the new app be used with CXNV2? Are the problems with creating a que now resolved? Were connection (wifi) issues caused by StreamMagic app? Will there be a tutorial on how to properly use the new app, or simply "you are on your own"?

This latest version was working great for me until I updated my iPad to the latest OS. Now it’s much slower to recognize my MXN10, I’m getting a spinning wheel when I try to access Settings, and my Tidal tracks won’t play. I’m going to go out on a limb and say it’s Apple’s fault for issuing the worst update of all time, but I’m hoping Cambridge can up with a solution all the same, as it’s otherwise a great app.

Earlier this year, I purchased the Cambridge Audio Edge A from Audio Advice, and it has truly transformed my listening experience. It's quite possibly the best sounding integrated amp I have ever heard. My setup is simple yet effective, with EverSolo's DMP-8 as part of the system. The source system paired with my Edge A delivers a super quiet, neutral sound with an impressively wide stage presence. I wholeheartedly recommend the Edge A to anyone who wants to appreciate music as the artist intended it to be heard.

I bought the CXA81 mk2 amp and CXN100 streamer a couple of months ago. Currently running them with a pair of Monitor Audio Bronze 5G floor stander's from around 2016. Sounds fantastic on these speakers, although at some point I will upgrade the speakers to a pair of MA Silver 200's I think. Just for that bit more refinement as far as the speakers are concerned. But, even with the current MA's, the sound is rich and detailed with fantastic imaging. Anything I play through it sounds great. Good job!

You are entitled to your opinion, but you obviously have poor taste. Your reasons for picking biggie isn't on a sound foundation. Biggie rap about rapping little boys and throwing them in the water. Tupac wrote dear momma, I ain't mad at you and picture me rolling. Believe me Tupac was on a different level.

Nice tech. But why do you stick to the outdated form factor? It´s 2024 and the classic form factor of these things is simply outdated. I know, many old people can't part with it because they are forever stuck in the past but it's an almost ridiculously empty box with almost nothing in it. There would have been enough space for the technology in half or a third of the streamer. Same with the CXC Transport. Bloody hell, cut these things in half. Keep the form factor for the amp if you want (rather not) but cut the size of the streamer and the cd transport in half. So that one could still stack them (for whatever reason).
