Why there is no I2S output from the streamer, for the folk to experiment with high end DACs from the likes of Holo Audio, Denafrips, Chord Electronics?

In consultations with community users, I2S was low on the priority list. However, we are always looking for ways to give you more flexibility with your system, especially regarding connectivity. We'll pass this feedback on to our engineering teams for review.

Well you have my attention ! I own the cxa81 and I guess this would be a worthwhile future upgrade , I do hope a new cd transport to accompany this is in the works , the current Cxc is getting on a bit now and it’s too sensitive to cds with the odd scratch or blemish

I'n considering upgrading from CXN V2 but right now it feels like all I'd be getting is a nicer dial knob and a larger display. The missing I2S output doesn't make it more interesting and future proof.
