Why do you have to pull the seat out? It seems like you can replace it with the seat still installed.
@kadevallace3 ай бұрын
@@spacemonkey2829 You don’t have to pull the seat out if you’re just installing a new airbag. On this seat I took the whole seat to the upholstery shop and paid them to remove the torn fabric, restitch the seam, and then reinstall the reupholstered fabric onto the seat If you wanted to remove the seat fabric yourself it’s not too difficult on most cars. You can remove the seat fabric with the seat still Installed in the car but it’s a lot easier to remove the seat then remove the seat fabric

@@Wydxowie they are easy to replace if you know what you’re doing. Always have the battery disconnected and be careful not to damage the airbag connectors when removing the bad airbag

Which size electric ratchet is used for for this type of field ? Dont know if to get 3/8 and a longneck 1/4

I would get a 3/8 if I had to pick one to start with. I did everything the first few years with just the 3/8

long neck 1/4 or regular 1/4 i’ve worked at two different shops i use a regular 1/4 and i haven’t met a single person that has a 3/8 milwaukee ratchet lol

Don't get a 3/8" cordless. You will almost never use it. Always 1/4" cordless ratchet. 3/8" air ratchet.
