Use plugshare rather than google to find a station. Alternatively charge off any 120v outlet using an extension cable. Get it charged before taking off your trailer.

Hi, FYI, I saw on another video where someone bought a salvaged Tesla and later found themselves stranded when Tesla disabled the car from charging on the Tesla charging network until the car has been fully inspected and certified fit at a Tesla Service Center. Apparently this process can cost thousands of dollars. I guess you can still charge it at home or at other public chargers, but not Tesla superchargers. I think they also withdraw any support for the car. I was surprised that your car charged. Maybe they don't know yet that it was salvaged and is back on the road. Normally the charge is billed to the account of the registered owner of the car. It is not usually free to charge. Just be prepared. Good luck.

The car wasn't connected to a Supercharger. That's probably why it charged.

@@JRP3 Yeah you're right! That was just a destination charger. Will have to wait for the supercharger test. You can do without those really, if you get a Tesla-to-CHAdeMO adapter or just use slower chargers. It also depends on what else Tesla disables like updates and parts.

Any word if it supercharges? I’m looking at buying a salvage one also to save some bucks. I don’t plan to resale it so I don’t care about the title being salvaged.

Thats so odd. My model 3 died today, and it would not power up even after jumping it with my suv, AAA truck, jump starter and a trickle charger for 24hrs. Would not power up to unlock the doors. Had to put it up on dollys and push it out my garage so the tow truck could hook it up. And no warning message

How is the interstate battery working out? Is it an AGM type? Tesla’s are very picky about charging the 12v battery.

Conclusion. I don’t let my jeep or my Chevy volt run out of gas. Seems simple

clay125 more problems happen when you let an EV die all the way haha when you run out of gas it’s not a big deal because all you gotta do is have someone you bring a 5 gallon gas tank and you can make it to the gas station to fill up the rest of the way but when you run out of battery you can’t bring a charging station with you you gotta tow it to a charging station or get a massive extension cord and use the portable charger that charges about 3 miles an hour.. Also if the car sits for too long without being charged the 12V battery will die and then you can’t get into the car without a jump box. It’s just more inconvenient than a ICE car.

I have a Toyota Hybrid and my family we are going to be driving and moving home which is out of state and I’m taking my Bluetti AC200Max cause I don’t want it on the moving truck along with the solar panels and if I see a Tesla parked on the side of the road I’ll help them out.
