Prescribing the whole kit is some determination, hats down for you

Thank you very much for your comment, even in some modern kits I have to rewrite the panel lines, because they are too thin and with a couple of layers of varnish or a light sanding you can remove them, it is my way of modeling, it does not mean that it is the best, I am just showing my way of building. Greetings.

Excellent build wow, so cool! I built the Amodel Yak-17 earlier this year so I can feel your pain! I love how you rebuilt all the little "nozzles/vents" on the bottom of the engine nacelle among many other significant improvements like with the canopies and some scratch building too. Again excellent build and I hope to be able to make improvements on kits like these down the road. I've never done a lot in the way of scratch building in my last 22 years of modeling. If you have an email address available I could send you some pics of mine if you want. (Soviet markings and overall light gray) I plan to do the Amodel Yak-15 and eventually the S.H. Yak-23 down the road. Again take a bow for this achievement as I know it was no easy build. 👏💯💢💫 LOVE IT!! 👍👍

Thank you very much, comments like yours encourage me to continue this work of sharing my models, I am not an expert and there are very good modelers on KZbin, something positive without a doubt. I would be delighted to receive your photographs, I have enabled the email on the channel, by clicking on the channel logo and then on information there is a window that says "show email" Now everyone can contact me if they wish. I have several A-model kits waiting to be built, I am really looking forward to the Yak-28P that I have here, it will be one of my next models. Thank you very much for commenting and for your support.

Thank you very much for your comment. Yes, it is a short-run kit, it was only released in 1998 by Special Hobby. I was lucky enough to acquire it on a forgotten shelf in a model shop. I think that today only A-model sells this kit, I suppose it can be found on the second-hand market. Regards!

Querido Javier, sigue haciendo magia para nosotros durante mucho tiempo 🙂 Sometimes it's like destiny. When the decision was made to part with some models, I could only hope that they would end up in good hands. But with every model that Javier shows us here, I know that it was one of the best decisions of my life. What he shows us here, his passion for the hobby of model making, his craftsmanship - a feast for the eyes. And what he can conjure up from such an old model can only be compared to the magic of David Copperfield. Dear Javier, please continue to work your magic for us for a long time to come 🙂

David R Lentz, Columbus, Ohio, USA (Saturday, 13 July, 2024; happy birthday, Mother!) Whenever someone’s display catches my full attention, it is more than just my admiration for an excellent job-which, of course, you have shared with us-it is how one has kindled in me a project, or reminded me of my encounter with that particular vehicle. This, for me, is a bit of both. I some years past had 1) Revell’s 1:425th-scale kit of the USS Pine Island (AV-12) U.S. Navy Seaplane Tender, which had within a miniature of Martin’s PBM-3/5 Mariner U.S. Navy Patrol Bomber Seaplane, and 2) Revell’s 1:118th-scale kit of Martin’s PBM-3 Mariner Seaplane. I had read/seen/heard that Hasegawa had made a 1:72nd-scale kit of the aircraft, though I had been unable to locate one for purchase. I do not know if the Academy kit is a re-boxing of the Hasegawa kit, or a new mold. That is an academic exercise for another time. Whatever the case, I now may have access to one, to my keen delight. The only way I could be happier (well, in this context, I should clarify; in all candour, a companion for life, immortality, good health, great wealth, recovering all my lost possessions, etc., would be much higher on my list) would be if Tamiya (or one of the better kit makers) had issued a 1:48th-scale kit of the PBM-3 Mariner Seaplane . . . . I intend to combine them into a dramatic forced-perspective, ocean diorama of Academy’s kit in the process of taking off, as the smaller model on your left slows to draw alongside the auxiliary ship. The vessel’s port-side crane at that moment is lowering the third Mariner into the sea. Then a Consolidated PBY-5 Catalina U.S. Navy Patrol Bomber Seaplane (the Revell 1:48th-scale kit) sets down on your right. Thank you so much for giving me a generous serving of merry enjoyment (if a bit wistful) in watching you build your kit. Onto part two!
@buildmodels88012 ай бұрын
A 1/48 Mariner would be impressive, when I built the model it already seemed big to me in 1/72, like a B-17. Good luck in your search, but I definitely recommend this kit, I thought it was very good although it has its difficulties. Greetings and thanks.
@DavidRLentz-b7i2 ай бұрын
@@buildmodels8801 A Martin Mariner in 1:48th scale would be almost 30 inches in wingspan (75 cm)! I like mixing model genres, too: e.g., 1:24th-scale aircraft models set amongst some sedans at an airshow. Or an airfield with several P-51D Mustang fighters, as Hasegawa's Jeep in that scale rushes up with several pilots.

Another excellent idea - picturing the birds on glass shelves, so that even the belly with the landing gear can be viewed.
