Thanks for your comment, I had never thought about it, I am now with an Icm tu-2 that does not have them on top, but I also have a Chaika and an I-15 bis, also from Icm that does have them and the instructions for the Su-2 also marks them, in diagrams from 1941, perhaps they had them in the first part of the war, I will investigate the topic that I find fascinating, greetings.

They are correct for the very beginning period of the war, just after start of operation Barbarossa, with aircrafts produced in the last year's of '30 decade. Then it was removed (often over-painted) with start of use of the two-colors green/black camouflage

What orrible tank-like rivets! They mean complete removal and panels rescriving😭

Yes, I understand that the issue of rivets and rewriting panels is a delicate topic for modellers...some like it and others see it as horrible...I respect points of view, I use 0.25 and 0.3mm for rivets, Perhaps it may seem a little oversized for the scale, thank you for your comment, it is enriching to have different opinions.
