I'm quite a bit late to this particular dance, but I just picked up a used 15-35 f/2.8L from B&H, and I couldn't be happier with how it performs on my R5, R5 Mk II, and R6 Mk II.

video would be more deeper and helpfull is you show how to sync fx timings between two fixtures. yeah you can merge two lights in group but applying preset to this group triggering two lights in different fx phase

damn this is creepy. this video popped up in my feed and i nearly gasped. i literally just got done shooting a flashlight scene for my movie and had the EXACT same issues one after the other. when you got the to flashlight part with the flicker i just audible said "no f-ing way". THe same thing happened to me. Well i figured it out. SO... the flashlights have a little control circuit that uses a very very cheap PWM solution to dim them. that causes the flicker. but i found that if i put the setting on the flashlight to the highest it wouldnt flicker.... or so i thought. after some time the flicker would return. that is because the circuit likely has a temperature sensor that will activate the PWM in order to cool down the led. SO how to fix this? I gutted the flashlight and connected the battery directly to the led with a small resistor to dim the led just a little and hopefully not let it get too hot. luckily its also winter and pretty cold outside. i also added some thermal paste to help spread the heat to the aluminum handle which would let the user know if the led is too hot. and the best part is i dumped the crappy button for a ROcker switch that has so much more OOmf when you turn it on. i am going back tonight to reshoot a lot of the scenes as your solution to raise the ambient is a good idea and I'm stealing it haha.

You are calling someone else’s clamp a Cardellini clamp. Accurate Manufacturing is the only company that makes the Cardellini clamp.
@AndrewMurphyFilms19 күн бұрын
Because thats the style of clamp that is most known
@jssully17 күн бұрын
@ Steve Cardellini designed and patented the clamp. He also trademarked “Cardellini Clamp”. So any time another clamp is called a Cardellini, the person doing so breaks trademark law. Just bringing it up because I believe inventors should reap all the benefits from their hard work and others should not.

Great find! Do you know if there are any fresnel lenses that fit on the small rig 100B? I got the nanlite forza 60 with a fresnel on your recommendation a little while ago. The light is good and the fresnel is great. It would be awesome to have the small rig as well! Thanks for the videos!

@AndrewMurphyFilmsАй бұрын
It technically should as they are both Mini Bowens. However, I do know that sometimes normal bowens don't work with the Nanlite fixtures. I no longer have any Nanite fixtures so can't test this for you

Hello. Nice video. The most important thing is to find clients, customers for work. Sometimes they are found through the Internet, sometimes they find you themselves. But there were several situations when I did not look for them remotely, but came straight to the office without warning. Face-to-face dialogue is the most effective.
