Do you have any experiences with this lens or similar manual focus lenses? I'd love to hear your thoughts. Also, what are your thoughts on how lenses have evolved over time? 🧐

I’d love to see a comparison between the Sirui Night Walker Cine T1.2 - 24,35,56 set to the Viltrox Cine T1.5 - 23,33.56 set and the Mitakon Speedmaster T1.0 MFT Cine 17,25,35,50 set. Let them battle it out.

man, comparison between Speedmaster, 7Artisans Vision, Sirui, Viltrox and Meike would break the internet.

hey man! Great Video! I'm on the fence about these and Meike Super 35, suggestions? subbed!
@AndrewMurphyFilms2 ай бұрын
Oh man! These are both my go-to! Personally, i like the Meike S35 more as they are easier to rig and much sharper. But the Sirui are much smaller and better in low light!

I have one Cine lens, a Rokinon 12mm T2 lens for my MFT camera. Any hint of sunlight on the front lens produces a noticeable color cast gradient I was going to buy some Meike lens, then I saw this. There has been a lot of positive reviews, so I bought the set. Why, cheaper, smaller, faster and Im a beginner I have the DJI LIDAR system

Why don't they have a EF mount for BMPCC 6K Pro?

I would guess because flange focal distance is so different this particular optical design would be impossible to replicate for that far away from the lens.

slr magic have been doing this for years.

Yes that is correct. I wouldn't classify SLR Magic as a budget option

You can use them on the Canon EOS R5C - in the system menu you set the camera to shoot super 35mm and boom, it works.

Mate, fellow filmmaker from Aus here (Adelaide). How do these stack up to the Meike s35 lenses? Thanks mate!
@AndrewMurphyFilms6 ай бұрын
We’ve been using these more recently because they are smaller form factor. However I still like the Meike as they fit all the added gear better. It’s really hard to rig up a follow up unit and everything with these small lenses

Do any of the lengths cover full frame, even with squishy edges? Like the 50mm?
@AndrewMurphyFilms6 ай бұрын
Nah all have vignetting unfortunately

mmh, too bad for the color difference a the amount of CA wide open, they seem to have done such a great job with everything else... But, well, they are affordable, so I can't complain that much XD
@AndrewMurphyFilms Жыл бұрын
Crazy affordable hey! Coatings are a bit of a shame

Despite price I wound never consider these lenses unless they come up with an 18mm and a 85ish mil, otherwise the set is very limited. Wouldn't mind if these two additional focal lenghts would be T1.3 or T1.4 instead of 1.2 That'd be good enought and have a complete basic set
@AndrewMurphyFilms6 ай бұрын
What would you use the 18 and 85mm for and what camera would you pair them with?

a great way of describing lenses without shooting any videos from it.... All you did was to state facts from documents and a couple of shots of how your rig looks .... very helpful ...and you call it "Ultimate Review" ? LOL!!
