I just used this tool to help reposition Motor Mounts in there respective position(s). Just replaced the Exhaust Manifolds and Motor Mounts on a Ford 5.4 Liter (3) Valve Engine. The Special Hoist saved the day.

Is the 1:1 or free hook you speak of the same thing as the term double purpose? Also, is a snatch block the way to do essentially the same thing as the 1:1 free hook pully you mention and show in your video? How was that free hook actually put onto the pully? Was the end of the cable removed in some manner. Sorry if this sort of questioning seems dumb, but I have never worked with such and have viewed several videos where no one ever seems to show just how to hook up such on a standard cable puller or come along. In the box stores locally, the staff working there mostly have never even used a come along to know how to answer these questions to begin with. Thanks for any info on this. Nice video.

I have such a problem with my come-along. It has a design flaw. The slackening mechanism should be more like the kind you have. So much quicker and doesn't require me to do three operations at the same time.

you DO NOT fuel that way, with running saws and you should not run a saw closer than 10 - 15 ft from the fuelling area ! this is how you "set light" to the fuel and cause fires !!

If someone wants to get in, whether they have the knowledge or not, they'll get in lol. A door is just a deterrent, they still have to go through alarm systems, potential home threats like an armed gun owner/dogs and cameras. Unless you're a super sleuth who can handle all sorts of factors while weighing the cost of jail time, by all means, go for it.

You shouldn’t make any cuts in overhead doors when they are closed. The doors are under high tension and removal of any material can cause serious injury or death. They do not have these sample panels hooked up to a door counterbalance. 43 years experience with overhead doors.
