I was so glad to have seen them in Orlando on the Delicate Sound of Thunder tour and then in Miami on the Pulse tour. Fantastic memories.

The drummer you've seen in this show, Clive Burr, is not with us anymore sadly. They changed him shortly after this performance with Nicko McBrain, who has been the band's drummer to this day, alongside: lead singer Bruce Dickinson (the one in this show, he's also a master fencer and former flight pilot, he doesn't fly anymore due to age limits in flying license, he used to personally fly their plane when they go on tour), bassist Steve Harris (the founder of the band) and guitarists Dave Murray, Adrian Smith and Janick Gers (Yep, they have three guitarists now). They're still active to this day.

This is live, no studio, no auto tune. Oh, and it's a Viet Nam era protest song. Love your reaction !

You have it set a bit too quiet. It's my favourite track. You might want to listen to the version that accompanies the film, 'The Wall' for some context. And be careful not to speak over David Gilmour's guitar (or any of it, really). Reacting to PF should bring in the subscribers for you.

Gracias 🙏🙏🙏

The movie (which Metallica bought the right to) was called "Johnny Got His Gun" and depicts the son and going to war during WWI. The tempo, intricacy, and staccato nature of the progressively building music parallels the desperation of the soldier as he comes to realize his post war situation. Tremendous artistry and message.
