I beat this guy with using the holy orders trinket and i killed him with a 115 damage crit as my bro had 60%prot then he had maybe like 70-80% more damage and 50% crit chanse so bro turned to shreded cheese I lost my houndmaster but who cares 115 crit

Huh, the boss doesn’t seem as intense as I might have expected, seems reasonably tame. I was expecting more of a gimmick, though I’m not sure exactly what encapsulation does. Does that icon on it mean it ignores DBR, like if you get hit with it on death’s door it’s a guaranteed kill? Please tell me it doesn’t mean that it has a chance to just instakill, that would be cringe XD

Honestly, as good of a boss as GS is, its moveset is a little lacking. Colossus Scream is a strong stress attack that can bring you to affliction quickly. It's an OK move, but frankly, it should deal lower stress, and perhaps deal horror or a debuff, maybe to damage dealt. Earthcrash is interesting enough. It's essentially Maa's Rampart. It's a good move aiming to distrupt your party. Other than these two and The Maw Opens, it has nothing but a ton of HP (the gimmick of the fight). There is a lot of potential to be used with this boss. Let me give an example or two. Shifting Sands could be kind of a party-wide shuffle/movement resist debuff. No damage, kind of a setup to Earthcrash, perhaps. Molding would be a small heal with a strong buff to its PROT/debuff resistances. To compensate, GS would need to have its PROT removed/reduced. Rupture would be a random-target attack hitting at the ground. Moderate damage, a chance to shuffle, and a chance to hit one additional hero. I think Thrall has a skill that works like that. Again, those are just faint ideas. The boss is good as it stands, but it can be seen as a little plain imo.

I manage to clear this boss with 0 researh and first attempt, with the origin opening team (Musketeer-Occultist-Hellion-MAA). Though, I use the virtue trick, manage to get MAA and Hellion virtue before the fight. 1. MAA is pretty tanky with trinket at this point, and guard Occultist all the way, use riposte to help some minor dmg. 2. Hellion bleed is useful here, but most of the time he get move back to p4, so the fight last pretty long. 3. Occultist, just heal to prevent death door. 4. Musketeer heal is very useful too to prevent deathblow from poison. With 2 or 3 lucky deathblow survive, I win this fight maybe around 20-30 rounds (it's pretty long but can't recall the duration) with 0 lost, hell yeah!

Easiest way to take this boss is to bring move so she never gets to front. The damage she deals when all she does is shoot 1.5 times per turn is so easy to manage

This boss is so stupid. What’s her weakness? She’s almost immune to dot, decent protection, and her attacks can’t be riposted. It’s not a difficult fight because of how she doesn’t do a whole lot of damage, but the fight just seems stupid
