Well, i got money and one trash trinkets. This boss is a pain in the ass, it keep spam aoe stress. My team got heart attack in turn 4. Lmao. The trinkets of this mission is not bad, but it not worth compare to whole fight

It's a good thing whether it's negative or positive, just wondering how you perceived the final boss of DD2 since they're virtually the same lol. I can already guess you didn't spend 50+ rounds on him. imo I'd rather have something that would kill me several times over than spend a decade tryna kill a dude on a giant chair.

@@ShoddySquid in my opinion, focused fault and ravenus reach is the best finall boss, seething sigh before neft is also cool as fuk. Body of work kinda easy for final boss, and the design kinda suck (any other boss have better design than him) and the attack "face you failed" like the free hit, i don't feel the challenge of the final boss in him. But well i enjoy DD2 like every other game

@@QuanPham-ty2xl Yeah, FF and Rav are extremely cool and difficult (kinda what we think of when we think "Darkest Dungeon"). But the idea I think Red Hook is trying to get at was more cinematic for Body of Work. There is no "dungeon" in darkest dungeon 2 (sluice?) so the dungeon is fought within ourselves (the characters) and how the failures we face bring us to a greater ending. I see the sandworm in that same way. This was the only other cutscene like boss fight that could show Black Reliquary's skill at doing animation stuff AND get a boss out of it (difficult. them people always do difficult)

Honestly, as good of a boss as GS is, its moveset is a little lacking. Colossus Scream is a strong stress attack that can bring you to affliction quickly. It's an OK move, but frankly, it should deal lower stress, and perhaps deal horror or a debuff, maybe to damage dealt. Earthcrash is interesting enough. It's essentially Maa's Rampart. It's a good move aiming to distrupt your party. Other than these two and The Maw Opens, it has nothing but a ton of HP (the gimmick of the fight). There is a lot of potential to be used with this boss. Let me give an example or two. Shifting Sands could be kind of a party-wide shuffle/movement resist debuff. No damage, kind of a setup to Earthcrash, perhaps. Molding would be a small heal with a strong buff to its PROT/debuff resistances. To compensate, GS would need to have its PROT removed/reduced. Rupture would be a random-target attack hitting at the ground. Moderate damage, a chance to shuffle, and a chance to hit one additional hero. I think Thrall has a skill that works like that. Again, those are just faint ideas. The boss is good as it stands, but it can be seen as a little plain imo.

I assumed so as well, but that just led to my top Flagellant dying. It's all about 1- or 2-shotting the tongue. Bring a full Mark team that doesn't care too much about positioning: GR/HM/HM/Occ (and keeping the Occ alive with one of the HM's Guard) worked really well for me.

A skin mods need a Black Reliquary patch to make it worked because some heroes have a new skill which required additionnal sprite. (For example: Crusader with Otsvengr Banner.)
