My guy I don't have a phone, I want to find a more keyboard sized stream deck-like product that I can use to do things like start recording, switch scenes, mute certain audios, etc. I want a stream deck-like thing but budget.

Gik doesn't seem to make this panel anymore. I can't find a 2.6" panel anywhere on their website. The link in your description links to a 3.6" panel, which is NOT the one you used in your review. All I can find are a 2" panel and a 3.6" panel from Gik. So I"m a bit lost on what to order. the 242 Acoustic Panels are 3.6″ thick, and I can't give up that much space. I don't want my desk 4" from my wall. The 2" wouldn't have the performance I'd like. It's a Goldilocks problem. I wish they still sold the 2.6" panels you have.

Thanks so much for this!!! I've started doing KZbin vids with my buddy again and I've always had trouble getting the audio levels right since all the audio separate from my mic would just count as desktop audio and I would have to try to balance out any game we were playing and my friends audio through discord in one volume slider and it's rough lol. This should make things so much easier!

I love this thing. It’s great for making music videos direct to my computer in my studio. If you’re a music creator, this thing should be the “go to” camera.

This is the clearest explanation I could find for how to separate audio sources in OBS. It took me a while to find, but had me sorted in 5 minutes. Also learned a few things about OBS scenes and filters... so thank you! :)

I wish content creators and testers would do the same video ( but use the facecam 1.2.3 ) and use the professional room and light. Why put the 5k camera on your good light and good background and the review on a key light with not ideal background? Show us the Facecam pro on your proper 3 peice lighting and background. Thats how we see the difference

Touch portal sucks. Constantly get disconnected. Are there any wireless stream decks?
@PanduhCxАй бұрын
No just no, Ur better off doing something complicated than this. The issue with using this you will need to constantly change what it’s looking for. For example, playing music through Spotify or Discord. If you accidentally exit out of it. OBS will try look for what you had it Original as, So it won’t look for what currently playing forcing you to manually look for it. Same can happen with discord, let’s say you were in a call in one stream and wanted to capture that Then the next stream you are in a different call. OBS will not pick it up because it searching for that call of when you were in last stream. This type of setup is only good for recordings, as you have all the time in the world to play with the settings. I made the mistake of trying to use this method on stream and I spent like 20 mins trying to troubleshoot it because it failed to realize that despite having similar name, it’s not what it’s looking for. This is not worth the effort, as eventually you will need to go back and fix all of the settings which is incredibly annoying. You are better off just being mindful of all the audio you have going on than using this, this is only useful if what you are capturing title doesnt changes.

just got a yeti x and it sound horrendous out the box, it picks everything up, tweaked and tweaked for hours on end and I can't seem to get to sounds remotely decent.

You don't need a Cloudlifter if you have an audio interface with enough gain, which most of them do. But if you think you still need one, buy the Behringer Mic Link instead for 20 bucks.
