Hey! I work at AVerMedia - great webcam comparison! Just FYI - the AVerMedia PW513 has *fixed focus,* not auto focus, which is why it appears to be focusing more on your face when you made a comment about it. I believe it would be the default auto-exposure responsible for what looked like an auto focus change (I recommend manual exposure for best quality!). Again, awesome comparison! For AVerMedia, you should have tested the 315 for 1080p60, not the 513. And not they do fixed focus, not autofocus. Fixed focus is better than most autofocus implementations for a webcam. A really good autofocus might be better than fixed focus, but then you’d be paying a lot more for that good autofocus.

Elgato is now 180 usd, and the streamcam is 100 bucks, 80 bucks for the c920 or the c922 pro, so the streamcam as of now is looking like the best option

I feel at most any webcam should cost no more than 100 to 120 usd. Maybe if you let me do something like being able to add DSLR attachments like different lenses to a webcam and improve the audio to at least blue snowball quality, then I can see 200 being a bit more justified.

I was definitely set on the StreamCam but that RazorKiyo looks even more promising. I am upgrading from the Logitech 1080p ProStream, so this choice is difficult! This video helps!!!

$150 can get you a used camcorder which has multiple uses(streaming or recording) and a monitor with a live view, and then you can add an $10 capture card that does 720p60 which is good enough for streaming imo

Honestly, for the same price, you can get a cheap GoPro Hero 3-5 and an Elgato Cam Link 4K (around $200 combined) and with some adjustments in the camera itself, you’ll have a wonderful image

@@littlenel17 that might be something in obs, i'm not 100% sure as i didn't have this issue. or maybe it's in the connector, you're using cam link i'm assuming? I'd check on the gopro and on the camlink settings.

I do not stream but have always had a webcam because it is nice to be able to see each other when talking to friends digitally as we all did on Skype when it was popular and that is why I have and still use a Logitech C920 HD Pro and it is admittedly old but works without any problems for "Skype calls" and the like but maybe is not something to start streaming with but then these webcams in the video are probably better for that purpose.

I'm having a problem and I don't know where to ask for help, I have a Razer Kiyo Pro, and it doesn't work on one of my computers, it keeps blinking and distorting everything, I tested the web cam on two other computers and it worked normally. do you know how to help me? my config is 10400F on a B460m D3H (Rev 1.0), I tried a clean reinstall of windows and it didn't work.

I really do not like the look of avermedia. I don't know what it is, but it is either the fps or something else that makes the occasional pixelated problem like my $30 webcam, except my cheap webcam does it all the time instead of occasionally.

I have the Avermedia and I seriously hate the software. Half the settings disappear and are unusable when using other software like Zoom with them also resetting sometimes. The webcam also gets pretty hot when plugged in. Considering getting the Razer instead now...

For faces WIDE angle is the WORST, unless you want to look insane or ugly ( sometimes the desired effect). Please understand lenses if you make informationals about them.

Same. Put it together with Nvidia Broadcast and you can even get the background blur that some mirrorless cameras do. It's not as good but it's very nice!
