Ok. At 4:20 the way Chuck E just picked up that kid shows the 90s we’re a different time. Nobody would ever get away with that today. If management ever sees me doing that during any of my roadshows, I’d get the ax I’m sure.

I think that part at the 4:20 mark where Chuck E. picked up a black kid is cute. Don't worry, Chuck E. didn't make him squirm and he didn't drop the boy with black skin. He gently placed him back down on the floor & made sure the child's feet are touching the floor before letting him go. Why in the world would corporate tell CEC not to pick up a kid? The reason why is they don't want to make kids squirm or drop them, but there needs to be times when the characters can pick up and carry a kid like dancing with them. There needs to be a rule for those who are “waking up the characters” that if a child wants to be picked up by the characters (I'm sure you've heard the pick me up cry), then they should do it gently and safely & carry them safely for a little bit, not violently nor inappropriate. Doing it violently or inappropriately can cause damage to the costume and hurt a kid emotionally, verbally, spiritually, and physically and can make them squirm and can also develop masklophobia. The walkaround characters should not make them squirm and they should not drop them when they are picking them up safely and gently. They should check them first to make sure there's no squirmness inside of them before picking them up safely and gently, like rubbing on the head or holding their hand. Babies, toddlers and young kids are 100% very fragile. This is not recommended for babies who have the masklophobia phase, toddlers who have the masklophobia phase, young kids who have the masklophobia phase, older kids with masklophobia nor special needs with masklophobia. They can only pick up, carry and hold the ones that do not have masklophobia and haven’t had any squirmness in the bodies. They cannot pick up, carry or hold the ones with a masklophobia phase or long-term masklophobia. It's only for people ages 0 to 7 that are not afraid of the characters and are not squirmy. If the cast members are not comfortable with that when waking up Chuck E., then sitting on the floor cross-legged and holding an infant or kneeling to a little child are better choices. I want the characters to show empathy, humility and God's love to the kids. There are also three KZbin videos where Chuck E. Cheese picks up and carries a kid safely and gently, like Family Home Videos: part 40. 1993 - Kevin's 4th birthday at Chuck E. Cheese - starts at 9:45 mark and ends at 9:56 mark (This is from the Springfield, MA CEC location, Chuck E. is just picking up the kid for a birthday hug and kiss, then he put the birthday boy back on the floor safely), the BIG BOY DULANEY Dec. 19th, 1992 4th Birthday Chuck-E-Cheese (starts at the 7:49 mark & ends at the 7:56 mark) (Chuck E. picked up two birthday boys safely, gently and firmly and carried them off the stage after Chuck E. came off of the stage as Birthday Star 1992 is ending and placed them back on the floor safely before the curtains close because he didn't want them to trip nor fall down when the curtains are closing), & Dancing with Mr. Cheese (starts at the 0:09 mark and ends at the 0:28 mark) (Chuck E. picked up a birthday girl that wanted attention, hold on to her tight and rocked her. He was being very careful with her. The birthday girl let him know about the cake and then Chuck E. placed her back in her seat so she can blow on the candles on the cake).

Great sound. Brings me back when my dad would bring my brother and I to the dream contest at Roosevelt Stadium to see all the great corps in the late sixties and seventies. I was hooked and played snare in two corps . thanks for the video

Unfortunately they are following the DCI rules and regulations period no longer at Real Drum and bugle Corp. If they were they Drumline would be in front. They turned into a marching band like all the rest, no offense against marching bands. Today is January 21st 2022. Former member of the Long Island Sunrisers 1964 through 1968.

From a timing and tempo maintenance perspective, it makes way more sense to have the drumline (aka, the ryhtmn section) at the back end of the parade formation.
