Thanks God for giving us believers who understand how to help others with the Knowledge of God's Word and appropriate therapy, because Only God can really know what is happening in man's mind, and He is able to show those are instructed in the area to really help others to have mental health when they are struggling some time. Bless you so much for this sharing.

As we put on the mind of Christ, we are removing our cognitive errors and nourishing mental health all the time. I am thrilled with this conversation. It is completely normal for the Christian. Sometimes there are obstacles to good health that are difficult to recognize and identify. Maybe an injury has occurred or there is a chemical imbalance that has developed and now the believer finds himself at a loss as to how to regain the balance of emotions that he has always before enjoyed. A trusted fellow believer can be a great help. I appreciated your use of 'standing alongside' a person who is seeking help. It brought to mind the Greek word: parakletos (Strong's # G3875) of John 14:26

Thank you Sierra and Priscilla!! I really appreciate you sharing this topic. What helped me was when Priscilla explained how we can be vicariously influenced by helping others and to be able to continue to love them with that Agapé love and know that even though we don’t always have the answers, God does! What peace we can maintain with that truth and we can still be helping by praying for them.

I think that is so important to not give up on the first therapist if it doesn’t work. I know of a few people who just gave up and nothing I say will make them try another.

As rich in content this sharing was, my biggest takeaway was when Rev. Mullins read Palms 139. I had forgotten how intimate our Heavenly Father knows us, and he is ALWAYS there, He NEVER leaves us, even though at times we succumb to temptation and intentionally leave God. He is there guiding us back to him. Words can't express what a huge building block this sharing was for me. I'm so thankful for God working in Hunter Mullins and Rev. Tom Mullins both to will and do of His good pleasure.

OMG!! This was such a phenomenal sharing. I really love how Rev. Mullins shared his background on how he can to know and understand so much of God's Word. His sharing of God's attributes was extensive. What touched me the most is just how consistent God is from the Old Testament to the New Testament. These podcasts are so enlightening and a wonderful outreach. Thank you.
