idk how the fuck you pulled those white arms off but i couldnt for the life of me, my thumbs hurt so bad rn from pushing on those stupid butterfly joints

@@rango6975 I’ve kinda gotten use to pulling them out right after I heat them up, but I understand it’s the not the easy thing to do. I suggest using a flathead screwdriver to help pry it out. You can also pull the entire buttery fly joint using a tool like that too

I think it’s a good mod for more joint movement but I feel like on the marvel legends bigger body the arms look kinda small but idk maybe I’ll try it. Great vid btw ❤

@@TheBirdSolution the CT Toys have a plastic cap on the inside of the butterfly joint (similar idea as the head sculpt) so the shoulder joints of the two figures are very different. But I’ll play around with them tonight and see if there’s a way to make it work

@@TheBirdSolution actually, the CT toys do work on Marvel Legends. I’m using the Hellverine body but I’m sure the brood body is the same. I’ll post a short of it in the morning

@@GryanRostling I ended up doing that in another video. I used twist ties to make a ring on the shoulder pads. Not a perfect system, but it allows me to take them on and off

I thought I was the only one who did this fix-up with my Ultimate Kevin Owens lol I couldn’t take having the Ultimate KO be smaller than not just every other Ultimate, but also smaller than his own Elites, so I torso swapped him with the Ultimate George Steele, and it works out perfectly! Makes KO in scale with the rest of his Elites and other Ultimates, plus he still has a bit of a gut, but it’s smaller and more accurate to KO’s current physique. I also used decals from Curb Stomp City Decals to add the missing logos on his shorts (the PWG logo and Super Dragon emblem) to really make it look more accurate.

@@connorswrestlingfederation212 so with a thicker leg like the Kevin Owens shorts I learned it’s easiest to push the pin all the way through instead of trying to pry the thigh enough to separate the pin from the hinge. I have a thin metal pick tool that helped a lot with this. Heat the leg up and then use the pick to push the pin from one side all the way out the other side. Hopefully this explanation makes sense

The shoulder swivel is stuck and can't go all the way back after I changed arms any suggestions how to fix?

@@thetalentedtalon is it having issues rotating in a circle or hinging up and down? My suggestion would be to heat it back up and try to remove the arm from the butterfly cap. See if that’s where it’s getting hung up

@ even though the first Shawn Michaels and Edge ultimates didn’t use butterfly joints, I liked the skinny-ness of those torso, I wish Mattel would go back and update that mold with butterflys. Like they kinda did with the original Cena/HHH torso and then recently with the Rock’s torso

Bro I never thought about using George Steels torso gonna order one and make that change I already had changed the boots to kick pads n changed the shirt to a custom one but I was not liking the figure I’m sure I will one I make that upgrade. AWESOME WORK

Instead of putting the nail polish remover on the torso use clear nail Polish, it takes more time but it doesn’t ruin the torso. Apply the polish on it then wipe it off with a hand towel or something like it.

Thanks for the great idea! How did you remove the head adapter on the CT Toys Wolverine? I've tried heating and plying it out with a small screw but it didn't work. The claws popped it pretty easily though.

@@OscarMasons so I’ve done it twice now and the first time it was super easy after heating it but the next time was more of struggle. I just kept heating the head up and slowly prying away at it. I do have a small metal pick (it’s as thin as a toothpick but it’s metal) and that was good to use to get in between the plastic cap and the head and to loosen it up a bit. I actually think I gave up on it for night and the next day came back and got it out

For now, sticky tack is still doing the trick haha, if it hadn't been for your video, I'd probably not have thought about using the adapter in the CT Toys head. Love the kitbash idea so much!

@@hyperbomb1985 funny you ask, I actually Frankensteined together the GI Joe arms and Logan arms. I kept the GI Joe forearms (because the gauntlets fit more flush) and have the Logan biceps and shoulders (because they’re accurate to Hugh Jackman’s arm shape). Now the GI Joe elbow joint isn’t a perfect match with the bicep but I made it work

@ my initial reasoning was based on looks, but I will say the Logan pegs are a much simpler route to go. They’re secure while being easy to swap in and out when I want to switch back to the yellow arms

@@nyjel2fly yes, all of Mattel’s wrestling figure knee braces are all the same mold so I swap different knee braces from figure to figure all the time. Sometimes it’s hard to get them over the boot, but I’ll put the legs in hot water and the knee braces become way more flexible
