Awesome first video I’ve seen that suggest the button switch and I think thats my issue as well but not sure how to troubleshoot by hot wiring. Is it just pin 1 to pin 2? My ac button switch does light up when I press it in so its getting power to the led but not sure if its sending power to the relay.

You can try jumpering the plug with wire like I did, or you could get a volt meter and see if there is voltage at the plug

i tore the engine down and had a cnc machinist replace all of the bullshit cheap and fucking ridiculous plastic gears with metal ones which is what seadoo should of done in the first place. it runs perfect now.

I know, in fact maybe more reliable. I’ve added a turbo and still have NA pistons, and no tune for trionic 5. So currently there is a reliability issue for my unique case. Thank you for the encouragement, Saab on.

Hey man I am now getting into trionic 5 tuning. Can you do a video about how to download the ECU stock bin, modify it and upload it to the ECU again? I am just curious about how to do that correctly. Do I have to give the ECU 15 volts to write the new bin file? Nevertheless thank you for your video and keep it up! Greetings from Germany :)

Did you need to get a motor lift to lift the motor out of the ski body or you can pull it out your self ?

did You ever take the bottom oil sump pan off and replace the 3 screens ? My spark is going in limp mode when i give it gas and saying its low oil pressure and I think the Screens are dirty. Since I had water in the motor.

Fixed it. Ran it up to temp in a river locally but CFM of the river is too high to really test it safely so going to have to wait until the spring summer season to fully test. Low oil pressure light did go away.

Bro you're a legend ... Are you a Mechanic? If not ... You should be! I've got a 2015 Spark as well ... Are you aware of the PTO issues with the 2014/15 models? The PTO is pressed onto the Crankshaft & if the Splines fail from incorrect engine alignment or the PTO gets Corroded ... You have to remove the Crankshaft. From 2016 onwards they changed the design to the PTO ... & Made it removable without having to tear the engine down. Have you checked the Splines inside the PTO ... Now would be a good time while you've got the engine out! 👍😎🤘 Beanie

Not a certified mechanic but I have worked a few engines. Fortunately for me I checked that drive shaft/PTO splines and mine were perfectly fine. I have other videos posted but I tore this engine apart because the plastic drive gear for the oil pump sheared so hopefully a new one will fix it.

Great video. So just to use more specific terms the harmonic balancer is pressed on to the crank. That's why it "shot off". The tool has more torque so there's less tension and less of a shot and more of a pop. It is not good to dent the balancer but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do. To get the balancer on You would want to get the crank as cool as possible and apply some heat to the balancer. The right amount of temperature change will allow it to go back together. A rubber mallet or the removals tool can be used too
