In this video I explain how to diagnose issues with various shifter bushings in your classic saab. I cover the self centering mechanism, how to remove the shift lever housing, and more. The vehicle in this video is a 1989 Saab 900 non turbo, but it is generally the same for all classic 900’s.

You can get the replacement rubber bushing from Modern Classic Saab, as well as the white plastic one.

Just put one in my 83
