Those of us who can afford to buy new vehicles are not buying $80,000 vehicles and we have no interest in EVs and plug in hybrids.

When you have a world pushing electric milk floats and at the same time ICE vehicles struggle to get better than 20 mpg because they are trucks and SUV’s is proof something is out of sink. My 2017 Mazda 6 gets over 30 mpg easily yet Mazda no longer makes it. When cars cost more than what a mortgage was in the 1980’s is proof we have ruined the future for our children.

It's pretty obvious that they're all high in costs. So the costs need to drop if they want to move them on. My next one might either be the Kia Sportage or EV3.

2002 Chrysler Town and Country mini LXI mini van bought new 11/2021 have 233,000 miles with very little costs...Has been well maintained, driven normally, and still going strong. Needs new headliner, which I hope to do this 2025 summer...has been garaged most of its life...I love this car, and don't want to have to buy another vehicle. I can haul anything in it, furniture, bags of mulch...kids, who are now adults. I keep thinking I need to buy a new car but nothing stikes my fancy...Thank you for this video. I have been thinking the subaru, or honda. i'm over 70 and really do not want a new car. I only drove 7500 miles over the last 2 years....🤩🤩🤩

Have 2 rav 4’s my wife and I. Toyota rav 4 2012 holding up great! Approx. 140k miles. Toyota 2014 holding up great! Approx. 110k miles. Also, had a Toyota rav 4 2003 rusted out in some areas but engine kept going. Miss the standard drive though.

If you don't invest in the core base of buyers and raise prices to the point only the wealthy can buy it you have loss..The average working class person make car dealerships and family trips but nobody have money for any of that from a base core of regular Americans we struggling with rent and other essentials food gas power bills

I bought a 2013 Mazda 3 in 2023 for $CAD4500 with 185k kms on it. Despite the regular wear and tear like breakpads, serpentine belt etc everything runs smooth. The engine has no issues so far and now it is currently running at 219k kms.

I was skeptical of the 2025 Crosstrek predicted reliability rating being 5/5. Just checked the Consumer Reports app and this number is only 4/5, which is still good.

I have a 2005 Toyota 4Runner, it used to be maintained by my mother who did the bare minimum. It recently just passed the 320 000 km mark (almost 200 000 miles) and is still going strong. I don’t think I’ll ever find another vehicle as reliable.

My 2014 Nissan Pathfinder Was reliable up to 164000 Miles when I spent $6000 On front end Compressor and All new brakes and lines. I have painted this vehicle well. But did not do Transmisson Maintenance which you need to do every 20.0000 miles. The Transmission failed and was too expensive to change. It also turns out these tyranny's suck.

Everyone that has never owned a range rover has something bad to say about it? That says everything you need to know. This guy has no idea what he is talking about. My car just turned 110k with no issues. It drives like the day I bought it. The driver’s seat leather doesn’t even look broken in yet.

USA seniors are all Well To Do All these cars are quite expensive. A vehicle that has big windows, wide opening doors and all the safety features and won't break the bank is the KIA Soul. About 3 years ago this vehicle was always in the top 10 for seniors for affordability. Not every senior wants a hybrid or an expensive SUV. A lot of seniors do live on a pension. I will bet this vehicle is high on the list for seniors who may want a used car for just getting around, just saying!!

The problem lies with overpricing, and Banks ripping us off with their super high interest, it's no wonder why people are not buying any new cars and fixing their old ones because we're all tired of the price gouging,

Idiot manufacturers got rid of all their small , 4 cylinder, bare bones cars for the average consumer. They wanted maximum profits and focused on giant trucks and SUVs. At the same time they focused on LOW QUALITY sending the jobs into Mexico paying pennies on the dollar for labor....KARMA. Only the Japanese understand the consumer market and still make Corolla, Camry, Prius, etc. Ford doesn't make ANY cars just expensive trucks & SUVs. The extra icing on the cake is the push for EVs that no one wants.. The perfect storm.

I'm a repeat car lease driver. At 65 years old, retired from IT, I love a SUV with the bells and whistles. I wanted to go PHEV with my new SUV and wound up leasing a KIA Niro EV Wave. I love it. As everyone is getting hybrids, I saved $$$ on leasing the EV because nobody wants EV's that aren't TESLA (I'd go blind before I drive a Tesla). Yes, I have a charger installed in my garage. I liked the RAV 4 and Sportage, but they don't fit inside my garage. By the time the lease ends in 2027, we may be driving Sodium Ion battery vehicles instead of Lithion-Ion so I will have the option to stay EV, or switch back to Hybrid. Where I live, AWD isn't necessary more than 2-4 winter days/year. Not worth the extra cost.

this is what happens when your executive division puts profit before what the market can bear. better reorganize the design department to today's reality. ditch the bells and whistles and bring down retail cost and up fuel and reliability.
