Hard to say as my wife's core 1 is a medium, so too small for me at 6'2" to test. Plus she weighs less than me. But suspension wise I assume they are pretty equal, it's just entry level rockshox vs entry level fox (both super solid). Her bike despite having cheaper brakes stops crazy good, yt did a really good bleed on hers. You can't go wrong with either bike, with a good tune and properly sagged/ setup suspension you are good to shred. There are videos of people doing some serious features on even the core 1.

How you describe difference between suspension on core 1 and core 2? Its worth more money? I dont speek about other components just suspension. Thank you.
@EJOpdahl3 ай бұрын
Not totally sure, my wife's bike (the core 1) is a bit small on me so I haven't taken hers down any trails. Just pumping around on flat ground they feel similar and the adjustments on them are similar. I think they're probably not that different from each other. Some people prefer rock shocks for their longer service intervals, but I think either are probably fine

Lol. Car is meant to be driven. We have taken that red jeep on some seriously f*cked up trails and high centered it bad on stuff. It's taken a beating and done well. It's my dad's. I have the blue wj (the car the camera is mounted on in the video) and don't feel as guilty when I beat it up. Now my dad has a 6.5inch lifted wj on 33's that he wheels.

@furleyforever10 ай бұрын
Small jumps like this are easy to overshoot. You have to go slower and pump/pop for air since they're so close together. These can be trickier and are more DJ than park jump.
@EJOpdahl10 ай бұрын
For sure. I misjudged it so bad! I use to be quite a good jumper but that was several years ago haha. Trying to relearn.
@furleyforever10 ай бұрын
@@EJOpdahl Same here, I have to relearn if I'm not pedaling for a while. A lot of it is muscle memory. Once you get used to the motion and orientation it starts to come back. Those first couple times are hairy for sure. 😁

@growlith696910 ай бұрын
I learned this at Kolo on a rented dirt jumper. The little jumps pop you out in the shittiest ways, the long lead up jumps are much easier to predict, and all gap jumps are evil. I refuse to do any gaps. None. I will try a 40' table before I do a 4' gap.
@EJOpdahl10 ай бұрын
haha yeah man. If you can't fit your whole bike on a jump, you should expect it to kick, and expect the timing of the pump to be difficult. I've hit tons of gaps up to a couple around 20-25 feet. but it's been a long time and I'm trying to kind of relearn the skill. This thing freaking served me for breakfast hahah
