The rhythm in the melody! Most of the solos (except the alternate takes) are on Henderson's wonderful Study in Frustration (5 discs). Henderson, the true inventor of the mature Big Band style.

His voice, like a singing ghost. It sounds SO GOOD!! every song they do and i heard. Emotional every time. Every. In the hall of rock and roll fame. Him and his colleagues. With all crowns. We will remember you too, Ink spots!🫰❤️ for sure, my own kids.

That's the problem with today's society we never appreciate the splendour of the past enough, until we hear or see something that gives us a moment to think and investigate. But that's also the good about today's society that we are willing to do just that and then appreciate that past in aspects we had no idea were such a wonder to behold. Bill Kenny's vocals is one of those....just incredible.

If you were a fan of the Late Mr. Nat King Cole, you can here the change in his voice in this song. About 2 years (1965), Mr. Cole passed away, I believe from Laryngeal Cancer. I feel he will be part of God's Heavenly Choir when our Savior, Jesus Christ, Returns!! For now Mr. Cole, rest in peace in 5he Arms of God!!
