This video proves what I’ve tried to explain to people. David Ruffin is the greatest singer Motown ever had. Hands down. I still say that the full power and capability of his voice was never unleashed the way it should have. RIP Mr. Ruffin. My favorite singer of all time.

I dug the Dramatics from the very first time hearing them on the radio, there was so many great soul groups in the 70’s but these guys were the cream of the crop, Reynolds, Banks, Ford and the rest are second to none.. and the musicians here are off the hook, still listening to these brothers in 2025 👏🏽

I was just born to late . But thanks to my mom i grew up listening to this ,and so many great talents.Im 52 now ,and this has been ,along with so many other genuine artists .No digital junk ,no autotune ,no stolen rifs . Just pure ,oroginal talented people .Who i feel blessed to have been able to listen to , respect ,and love .I was born to late to witness these greats .But im grateful i am able to still hear them ,and im just s grateful listner of this great ,original ,music that cant ever be replicated by nobody It stands the test of time for a reaon ,and will continue to do that .Big Mama was, will be a huge contributor to music In so many ways .She made peole famous for her original works of art .Thats how i see her .She was bad a*z and only xause fhe color od her skin is why she didnt get the proper credit Others did .Thats shameful But i will always be a grateful listener of her ,and other great musicians who were artists ,original ,and beyond great .I cant stand digi- Garbage so called noise they pretend is music Its not .Nothing is original ,and the talent skill level is practically gone I was born to late But ill always listen , Play it loud for people to discover it and rember it ,and try to turn people on to this amazing woman ,and other great arrists ,and musicians These were nit showmen They are the real deal .Nothing is fake its as raw and real as it was intended to be feel ,and hear Thank you for your amazing contributions to the music world Without Nig Mama there would be a huge hole ,No white people like Elvis would have ever existed without her amazing talents The worst part was she was born black ,That was her biggest wall ahe faced and thats just sad she deserved so much love and respect Her demons were not who she was .They were I think the side effects of hate ,and she deseved way better ,and she deserved to be admired for her ridiculously amazing talent My mom introduced me to big Mama when i was born .Her music has been a constant in my life for as long as I've been here big Mama and many other greats .Ekvis was never a thing in my house Im a grateful , respectful listening white boy who knew early what music is a d to appreciate it on a real level . I hate how elvis took her music and got more live for her music But he could never come close her You can feel her when she sings all you do is see elvis hear him But you wint feel him .I was born to late but was taught what real music is very young Thanks big Mama and to my mom ,and every other bluesman and blues women .There still are grateful listeners Just sorry i sas birn to late to witness it live My mother tomd ne stories she loved the blues , played harmonica too Not like big Mama but it was still so fun I miss her evey damn day .This is what hewat memories are made from Great music, good times with your loved ones and big mama was the reaon we sat around that table jjst having fun I was born to late.

When Ethel was rehearsing Gypsy she got Stephen Sondheim and Jule Styne to come over to Porter's apartment for dinner and they played and performed the score for him. Sondheim said one of the greatest moments of his career was seeing him cheer up while they played for him.

This bitch was a bigot and a sell out to her own peoples. She hated men, strong, black men at that. It’s 2024 you motherfuckers need to start telling the truth. She was just for Caucasian people and Caucasian people only she divided the African-American people homes. Her ideology. Bullshit is nothing , but the devils work.

And then years later he delivers arguably the best film speech ever made with his part in Scent of a Woman. When he was talking in this video he sounded a bit OTT with this theatrical clap trap trying to sound like he was fully immersed in his art. Turns out he actually meant it and has become the worlds finest vocal actor either living or dead.
