This is absolutely amazing! Just started building in the game so it's nice to get some new ideas for using items I wouldn't really think of using. I am very curious how you got the shelves to look like that at 2:30 ? I tried googling to see if I could find out how to do it, but google has been less than helpful lately... edit: I managed to find it, didn't realize you could change the shelves like the lights ^^' Either way, thank you for sharing ^^

For anyone coming to this, hoverpads no longer activate unless actually facing the ground so they can't be used in this way anymore. Either that or I'm completely missing something here, but I've tried other setups that just try and activate the hoverpads while facing blocks or a seat and none of them work. I'm sure it's simple enough to set up a different forward and back propulsion though, since the rest of this still works great.

Have you done control system for these drones using logic blocks, or in some different way?

I used logic blocks, direction sensors, and unit facers and probs a few other parts which ive forgotten about. I used the fant block editor tool to hide them all inside the drone 👍

@@CloudsCreations that's actually cool, because in self proprelled tanks I created there's 300+ logic blocks and it's hard to fit them inside of it, around like 2/3 of tank's inside space is just logic.

Hello, very cool, you build, I saw under one of the previous videos in the comments you wrote that if builders in that field are better than you (in the field of transport from your videos), could you give the names of their channels? and by the way, can you record a video on how to import buildings from creative to survival?

I don't have a list of channels, sorry to disapoint you but i don't really watch or follow any scrap mechanic content or creators. So I don't have anyone to send you to look at it. I meant more that I would imagine theres tons of people better at creating stuff than me.

It's vanilla survival but with all the fantmod parts and features. You can also save and load stuff to the lift in customgamemodes

You can use the standalone mods to add the fantmod parts to creative if that's what you after, but if you want thhese features in survival then just use the customgame

there is simply one question, how do I get or make metal. usually its made from scrap metal, but the recipe goes other way round. thats so bad without the metal I cannot build further and get stuff

You can use the miners to automate metal blocks, then use the recycle option on the autocrafter to convert it to scrap metal 👍

@@airpex7970 I can check if im having that issue too tommorow possibly. Check you havnt got any additional mods on and that you are using the custom game rather than the file mod. After that if you are 100% sure its an issue with the mod and not something on your end then ask in the fantmod discord.

AWESOME build!!! Any chance you could do a playground build of the Resident Evil Spencer Mansion complete with 'zombies'? If you aren't familiar there some good KZbin videos showing the mansion. I could link some if you'd like/need. We got the spiders already though too bad no snake for Yawn 😞 I would soooo love to see what you'd do with the Spencer Mansion.

It always hurts me to see one of your videos because it's a glimpse of how great scrap mechanic could have been with better devs. If modders took over the development, the survival campaign would have underground, underwater, airborne and space chapters by now. Or at least would be getting there. It's so sad. Imagine having to build vehicles to fight giant bosses. Imagine having to build a giant aircraft or boat to move some huge containers from an oil rig or something. Maybe a big survivor settlement where they give you quests. There could even be a racing league at the city or something. It sucks how many great things that you can think of would fit in this game so well. Fant mod is great, but mods can only go so far.

Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment. ❤ I totally agree that scrap mechanic has so much potential and we more than likely never see it evolve to the extent we would like. Scrap junkyard mazes with tons of verticality, Large bot building factories and cities, Setting up trade routes with cars or trains to npc camps and rare parts found through exploration and boss fights. Space would be a really cool edition but I would be ecstatic to see any of the suggestions you made implemented. Without mods I would have given up on this game a while ago, I'm both optimistic and skeptical about chapter 2. Hopefully we hear something from Axolot soon (This year) before everyone, including myself completely loses interest 🤞
