Hi and thank you for this video. I have an accounting degree and would love to follow this route. I went to the acca global website to calculate my exemptions, and they said i will get exempted for five exams. Does this mean that I will only write 8 exams and what are they specifically? would this acca qualification allow me to be an auditor in the uk or us?

Awesome stuff. What is the most technical branch of accounting? Is it tax accounting or something else? My background is very maths, physics, programming and data sieve orientated, and I'm thinking of switching to accountancy. I like formulae, algorithms numbers and maths the most. Which branch of accountancy do you think would suit me the most?

Note quite ACA tho is it. You're a Chartered CERTIFIED Accountant. Only members of ICAEW, ICAS, and CAI can use the CA designation.

You can try open tuition. They have free lecture videos on youtube and textbook on their website

Why do people take on degrees when they can just do the acca course and become chartered accountants. Aren't these degrees ineffective when it comes to time and costs. Has having a degree benefitted you?

Hey Sharon, I’m from South Africa as well and I’m going to write my first paper in September. I think it would be wise (as they do advise on the ACCA site) to upload your qualifications and see which exemptions you qualify from then take it from there

I am sorry but the title a bit of a clickbait. "Become chartered accountant without work experience". Because this is our biggest problem. We can finish the school, get the degrees, but the 3 years work experience is very difficult. That's why I watched your video. So I am very disappointed. With an other title this video would be a very nice one, very well put together.
