Man I know he’s not everyone’s favorite but Papalymo always hit so hard for me. Starting in Gridania, working and growing with the Scions, I do deeply miss him in the story

the ending to the dragonsong war was definitely the saddest for me up until endwalker hit me with a truck of emotional damage at the end. Emet's ending was definitely up there too. I was surprised ysayle's sacrifice and moenbryda weren't on the list but I'm sure that it was a tough one to make

Guardian druid split from feral in MoP. Prot warrior dps in WoD(removed legion) Survival rework into melee. Combat rogue (removed/changed) to outlaw. Demon lock tanking in MoP. So 10 vs 10. If you take Wotlk n DF as new expansions. 16 vs 10.

Whilst I understand all of them the one scene that cut me the deepest was not anyone’s death but when Ardbert lends us his axe just before Dying Gasp. Why? It speaks to me personally as my life is shit and I’ve been in a very dark place and the ONLY one who has stood by me is my father. He has stood by me thru thick and thin and would give his very life to ensure I have the strength to stand and fight and live. He is my hero.

One of my biggest tearful moments not in this video in ShB was when everyone was returning from Amaurot and walking across the bridge to the Crystarium, and the camera shifts from the Scions to Ardbert seeing his friends. I literally sobbed.

Haurchefant will never not get me. It's not just the scene itself but the whole entire context around it. He was already super kind and helpful during ARR and then took us in when we had no other place to go post ARR. The Fortemps basically adopted us and we helped out his brothers several times, it really made Ishgard feel like a home to me (especially since I coincidentally started the game as an Elezen dragoon and thus also already knew Estinien beforehand as well). Haurchefant himself is also just one of the most optimistic, loyal and friendly characters we had met, it was so easy to like him for his personality alone. Then having to tell his father about his death is almost even more heartbreaking than the death scene itself. It hurts when you encounter his brothers and talk to them and they reference him in regards to their own motivations in life. Then the full circle moment of his ghost appearing again to help you pull out the eyeball during Dragonsong. His father writing down the events of HW and his portrait being above the seat he used to occupy in Dragon Stone.. it's still the most impactful death to me because of how well crafted all these details around it were. Oh and then ofc the absolute emotional damage that is Dragonsong's Reprise

Am I the only one who trusted Papalymo in the end? I got back on the ship of my own volition, everyone I see on KZbin had to get yeeted back into it.

Yo.... that's interesting. I like pvp, but I have many PVP friends, and their toxic af. And they watch me walk around FF and tell me I need to play "real games" (not sure what game you were talking bout here😊) I like to work with people, pve. Pvp people idk....😅 they get mean😅 I can be mean myself... 😢😢 nm😅

If u think they stole from ff14 just try to play ff4.. where u play as cecil a dark knight and his first mission is to burn a city with its people to get rid of summoners and then start a psychological journey

I dont feel like the niddhog scene really even belongs in top 10 the walk at the end of endwalker was a 1000 times more tear jerking and impactful especially to anyone who has been playing the game since the beginning

Final Fantasy 14 saved my life when I was younger. I was 19. I just started in HS and everything I had experienced changed me and saved me from my darkest moments. Yoshi P as a person, while indirectly did save my life and, I will forever be grateful for the experiences I had and will have.

Could easily swap Blizzard with ZOS in this. Same arrogant, Ivory Tower energy. The clear difference between a developer who loves and respects their players, and another who takes their players for granted and treats them with contempt.

In hindsight, this video is nonesense just to shit on wow when it was trendy to invent more than necessary. How is using a mind-controlled character plagiarism, when both that and resisting the control of the controller out of will is even a boring trope that has been seen rverywhere. (surely you didn't think that was ground-breaking when seeing it in FF) Jailer armor only similiarity are 2 spikes, which the lich king helm has as well, the middle symbol "third eye" has no significance in the jailer, it's just boring generic fantasy armor, both in the first and the second. And the arbiter sigil, like it's an insignificant cool concept one would copy, in truth is a randomly made up symbol that appears for 0.2 and then never again. The Amaurotine (masked-people) have a totally different story and are in no way similiar apart from the connection you want to make, which is sound design. It's even irrelevant and never spoken about in FF, while in wow is. This video is an extreme reach. and example that people will see anything they want if it's to shit on what they hate.

I love guys like Yoshida but the danger with his way of being, is that people like that usually have health problems due to the pressure they put themselves on. Western devs are like "fck it, theyre just consumers, they'll take it" and go home and have a beer. They're a-holes but their stress levels are lower.

To be fair, one time back in TBC, Chris Metzen delivered a very sincere apology for accidentally retconing Burning Legion lore. Of course, since then, Afrasiabi would try to gaslight the players into thinking they misremembered lore, and Danuser would just brush off anything he contradicted.

Alisaie is my absolute favorite character in any of the Final Fantasy games, and the voice given to her definitely elevates her. Alisaie has that perfect balance of being fun and impulsive, but also caring and loving when the situation calls for it. Bethan, you play her so well and it always brings me so much joy to get to interact with her. Thank you!!

I'm sensing bias when I see FF14's good weapons being compared with WoW's beginner and joke weapons. If you're gonna do an honest comparison, at least try to compare like with like.
