You said 2 oz for 6 quarts so it would be 4 oz total for Cummins 6.7 ? Because it takes 12Q of oil.

After hearing Steve’s report on the oil treatment and talking with Clark about using it, you’ve got me sold on trying Rev X. Just changed the oil and added this to my car before heading to Bonneville later this month. Seems like very cheap insurance to help the engine live longer.

you said the zinc forms a coating at a temperature of 700 degrees !! I don't think I would have an engine left at 700 degrees !!!!!

My thoughts exactly! High ZDDP is used to break in an engine. Not at 700f, obviously! Haha

The reason they have reduced the amount of zinc in oil isn't because it's not needed , they did lower it because it destroys Catalytic converters and because they need these over priced so called emissions devices the manufacturer will sacrifice "Your" engine to keep the environmental agency off their backs. It's that simple. Zinc is the magic bullet of longevity in your engine. Read up on what Lake Speed says

@@Christopher-bh4gx No, if you watch Sick Week drag and drive videos he has to drive it hundreds of miles between race tracks all week. If you complete the week event its roughly 1500 miles driven. He also does Hot Rod drag week out west so depending on events the drag and drive cars probably get several thousand miles or more. And that includes 40+ 200mph drag passes.

After I saw the video when S/M was freshening up Clark’s motor & he told Steve he run Rev-X & saw the results in the motor parts , boom I now have Rev-X in my old truck. Great product!
