We don’t chain one at the end of each row? I’m so sorry if that’s a ridiculous question. I’m new to crochet and I’ve only ever done a blanket and a book cover.. it feels funny to not chain one for some reason.

Maxine, the brown really adds dimension to the bucket hat and makes it look even more suitable for Halloween or just the fall season in general. I love how excited you get over yarn color changes, I’m the same way 🤭 You are such a talented crocheter and I hope to one day be confident in doing freehand stuff as well!
