so what about the most important control of flying a war bird sim? RUDDER PEDALS !

This is quite messy dude. Try with nail polish thinned with acetone. Just 1 or 2 ml to a full nail polish bottle is needed depending on how thin you want it to be. Then you can apply it with a needle and a small syringe. Once it dries you can clean it with some acetone if you painted outside the lettering.

Authentic??? At 0:10 you've got the aircraft banking to the left, and the ailerons are in a right bank position! The kit may be good but the video is laughable.

Anyone flying DCS spitfires has to check out what authentikit offers. The 3D print files for controls are absolulely amazing!!! (and they are free!!!). And they will give you the complete electronic parts listing. (yep, for free!!). AND...If you are lazy (or ignorant of the required electronics like me), they will put together the complete parts kit for...wait for it....(ridiculously inexpensive instead of free) . AND they also provide videos for construction of said items. (for free!!!). Whats wrong with these people? I don't know, but I would love to be their North American sales representative but (I can"t work for free!!)

This is just amazing and soooo needed out there. I only wish I’d had this 20 years ago when I was building flight sims for the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum. I built numerous sims using MSFS. A group of developers got together and created a scenery for CWHM as well. I had every Mk Spitfire in that sim and visitors could take to the skies in any one of the aircraft you could see in our collection. A stand alone spitfire sim with realistic controls would have been a show stopper! Many a time on slow days I would fire up a spit in the sim and joyride. I had a sound system that blasted the very realistic sound of a spit throughout the museum. People would come and gather round. I’ve had actual spitfire and Hurricane pilots who flew in the war sit down and take over and ohhhh, the stories would flow. Congratulations on a great product!!!
@AuthentiKit8 күн бұрын
Sounds like you need one at home :-)

3D printing farms would do well in this market making every aircraft control system they could and more. just using base components that could be used across all of them to cut costs. not to mention things like Starcitizen controls that match the ship people fly most allowing for when they move the game to VR you won't need to do anything to know what you were grabbing. tablet and phone mounts for those kind of controls would be nice to see to.

@@knightsofrreee7961 i know what you mean. Not very compatible with our ethos though. Amateurs designing for free and someone else makes a business/profit out of it. Professionals wouldn’t do the designing because it isn’t profitable enough - volumes too low. Only option is to buy hardware kits and buy printed parts off a community member at mates rates. SimKitSupplies will facilitate both those.
