So happy you got to do this! My front pilot let me do a couple of barrel rolls in a Mark 9 Spitfire at Duxford last year. The rolls were done after hitting 275mph. Amazing.

We did it all & I flew a good portion of it, out to Newmarket & beyond. A life changing experience & worth every penny.

Back in 2007 I won a raffle for getting a ride in a P51 Mustang from the Kalamazoo Air Zoo flight museum. It was the biggest bucket item list I've ever done! Ive been wanting to fly my entire life and that Mustang ride was Heaven!

@@AuthentiKit I was bringing my friends son to the air museum. I bought 5 tickets and gave him 1 of them. Then 3 months later I got a phone call and knew right away what it was for! The flight was the week before the big Gathering of Mustangs and Legends air show. (That's why they were in the area) I already had my 4 day tickets before knowing I had won. The Mustang I flew in was Excalibur. The same Mustang was supposed to be there and they said to let them know and I could hang out with them. But sadly I only got to see them across the runway from the spectators area. Over 80 P51 Mustangs showed up for this event and I got a signature from Bud Anderson that day.

Nice! That would have been such a special event! Congrats! When i was in England last year i went the Duxford Airshow, and got myself a flight in a Tiger Moth. Was an incredible experience flying around an iconic airfield.

The whole reason I got into flight sim is from when I had the opportunity to fly an F16. did a barrel roll, loop, chased down a pair of aircraft, and (with the pilot flying it) went just past mach 1 and pulled 9.3 Gs. It was awesome to say the least.

Amazing! my grandfather learned to fly on Harvards in Canada as part of the EATS. I got a flight in the back of one in Sydney quite a few years back with the pilot doing some aerobatics. Very cool that he let you take the controls and try some aerobatics!
