I'm 25, got hired at a diesel shop at 21, changed oil on 2nd shift for 1.5 years, then changed tires on 1st for 2 more. Shop paid for me to get my 608 cert now I'm training under the lead reefer tech learning more and more every day. You gotta be willing to do the shit nobody else wants to do to get anywhere in this line of work, wish more people in my generation understood this. Everybody wants the reward nobody wants to do the work

Troll Clothing Co, is good quality clothing. Ive got a bit of their shirts and its fine quality in my opinion! Love your content. Would you consider doing some voice overs as your doing jobs at work kind of explaining what your doing in the process? That would be super cool and knowledgeable. Probably help your channel too maybe just an idea brother. God Bless!

@josemontalvo413913 күн бұрын
I have the same issue now, I was told to use the filter which I did and it still reading low oil pressure. I’m going to remove the filter but just wanted to ask if the sensor would get clogged with all that stuff and not read it correctly?

if you are getting moisture in the tires, deflate and fill with compressed air that has a dryer on it. my shop aircompressor is runs air thru a dryer and takes all the moisture out.

2018 5.3 with 45k z71, oil change every 5k, ticking noise coming from #2 cylinder right at 2400 to 3200 rpms under light load. pulled valve cover, inspected push rods valve springs and rockers and they are in perfect condition. AFM has been disabled since 500 miles (brand new). I don't know what's the problem. no engine codes. wot pulls sound and feel perfect. not sure what I should try next

Been buying these brands for a bit here in NZ, Hopefully Blue Collar blows up over here too
@55points24 күн бұрын
we are about to witness a blue collar explosion in the USA it seems. One for the history books from what I gather. People are going to increasingly forego expensive dubious college degrees for the trades. We are going to need hundreds of thousands of them if November brings a change here. A manufacturing revolution is in the cards. I can feel it coming. I have been dreaming of the rust belt turning into even greater than it was before they shipped our jobs out of the country. Made in America must return.

Can this cause pressure to read 20 psi? Motor runs great but consistently stays around 20 psi. 2012 with 169k miles.

Thorogood uses Nushoe Inc. out of San Diego California - you can probably get a local cobbler to do it for half the price. Thorogood wedge outsoles are made by Merramac, they’re a polyurethane based wedge sole, just request the cobbler to use Merramac outsole, it won’t say “Max Wear Wedge” on it like Thorogoods, but it’s the same outsole. Danner, Carolina, Duradero and many others use the same outsole. Your local guy should easily be able to do it. They cut the old sole off, sand down the slipper sole and cement the new one on. Done.

That back bolt sucks to get. Luckily, I had this Titan 1/4 micro ratchet that worked better than any other ratchet I had including all my hinge and offset ones. I had to use a piece of tape to put the bolt in the socket to put it back on. It’s a pain, but I got it.

Second Bracket Nut: First challenge i had was to see it. The Original CC filled that gap so much it was very difficult to see the second nut. Once i could see it, the best path for me to get to it was from above. I used a 15mm wrench. I had to reach around the right of the exhaust manifold and was just able to get it lose. Then it just took a little time to loosen it enough that i could hand turn it. With putting it back on, the replacement CC i have was not as big as the original so i was able to have that 2nd nut started, but loose, and got the CC in place and nuts started on the manifold.
