entomologist here, that's an eastern Tiger swallowtail! they use behavioral and physical mimicry to imitate snakes, puffing up and swaying back and forth to deter predators. Also, that species is the inspiration for the pokemon Caterpie.

Those boat are all over on the Mississippi River in Wisconsin by downtown lacrosse and barges are just everywhere not being used and to companies that fill up barges are right on the river

its refreshing to see a young guy practicing traditional methods. those ol timers like jack must have left alot of valuable information behind. trolling crankbaits with 10lb power pro has been my drug of choice lately. continued sucess jackson
