Hey there, apologies for the late response! Hopefully this reply also answers your question in your other comment. I’m assuming you’ve installed ReShade, but haven’t set up a preset yet. ReShade works by allowing you to apply additional filters and effects to a game. This is something you can do yourself, but you can also download and use presets created by other people (myself included, it’s been made public on my Discord server). This is a fairly complicated process I can’t really explain over a KZbin comment, so I recommend checking out tutorial videos on how to use ReShade and ReShade presets. Tne link to the ReShade download in the description also includes a guide on how to navigate the ReShade UI and apply effects. Sorry I can’t be of more help at the moment - hope you get it all working soon!

Hey! What I did was look around on KZbin for OMSI 2 videos with relatively good framerates, and copied the authors’ settings if they ever made them public. Mine are a blend of several people’s - some of the channels I looked at would include Lukeo, Eamons85 and Mosi LP. Hope this helps!

Never tried that bus on the 349 though I have tried using the Spectra, same spec as the one in the video I think. Made it just fine to Lower Monkton but just started spinning its tyres around the first corner on the trip back. I should try taking a larger bus on the 349 again sometime though, might actually work

All I did was zoom in a bit before I started driving - high FOVs make me a bit sick aha If you meant the camera movement, I use TrackIR, a head tracking device. Hope this helps!

Hii! It’s been a while so I don’t really remember myself aha Though it’s not unusual for bus DLCs like this to come pre-packaged with HOFs for major UK maps like Scunthorpe/Scunthorpe 2020 - perhaps you could look again? If it isn’t there then I honestly haven’t a clue, sorry!

@@rtn_727 I used to use Bandicam but now use OBS Studio, which doesn't use up too much space while still producing a high quality recording. Although when I used it, the recordings were nowhere near 64GB. There's no way my computer would be able to store 64GB recordings and my internet connection wouldn't even be able to handle it anyway :p

That’s the OmniNavigation DLC which you’ll find on Steam. It’s paid and can be a bit buggy, but I prefer driving with the floating route arrows off. Hope this helps!

Physics-wise definitely, handling in The Bus feels very arcade-y especially with the earlier buses like the Scanias.

Physics definitely need some work, buses just stop on a dime. To brake somewhat smoothly I had to feather the brakes and actually lift off entirely as I came to a stop (same goes even for the other diesel buses). The Bus is still a very arcade-y game and it shows, and as mentioned nothing at the moment can replace OMSI IMO - though given some more love from the devs this may serve as a somewhat worthy alternative, perhaps aimed at those looking for a decent (but less sophisticated) bus sim with updated graphics.

The graphics are defo its biggest selling point. Performance and physics may not be the best right now, but I reckon this game can serve as an okay-ish OMSI alternative (but not a replacement) given more love from the devs. and yus, the power of floof shall overcome even the angry German shouting at me in the logfile :3 hopefully.

Never had the B7TL just give up on me like that! Only bus to ever have done that to me was the E200MMC. Love the B7TL though, might revisit her on the channel again soon!

@@rtn_727 Yea the B7TL is just so nice to drive I absolutely love it. I broke down 10 mins from Stevenage after driving an hour and a half from St. Albans! was really annoying believe me!

Agreed, the 70 is fun to drive in a louder older bus like this Cummins Metrobus. Might try the Gardner one out in the future!

GG2 LHT isn’t exactly horrible to install - download everything map-related in the description and you should get a playable map. One of the patches for passenger behaviour seems to have disappeared off the face of the Earth though, so you’ll barely get any passengers and when you do, they’d try to board from the other side of the road (people on the other side would try to get on instead and cross the road when they see you coming, probably a remnant from the original RHT version). Not game-breaking mind, but it’s kind of annoying. I pulled a sneaky and asked a mate of mine who had a fully working copy to send me his map folder. Borderline piracy? Probably. Worth it? I think. Maybe. It’s a pretty cool map.

no worries mate, I see where you’re coming from :) The seating position is pretty high in this bus, and I tend to zoom in a bit before I start driving (don’t like driving with high FOV) - hence the weird view

What fov are you using?

@@prodriver357 it’s pretty arbitrary since I don’t think you can adjust the FOV like you can in ETS/ATS (with a slider/numbers). I just zoom in until it feels alright to me

@@prodriver357 I think I do remember seeing an FOV value in the camera section of the config files, probably would’ve been a better way to go about this tbh aha. Might do that in the future once I get OMSI working again

Believe OP’s asking about the graphics - I use ReShade! My preset is available in my Discord server if you’re interested, though you can always tinker around with the filters yourself and make your own :)

I do try to make sure I don’t hit anything in my videos so those would be out of the question for me aha. Can’t guarantee not snapping the mirrors off on a lamppost though :P
