I want to combine this and enduring enchantments. But there's no good 4/5 color commander that's for enchantments unfortunately.. Well duskmourn did print a 5 color enchantment commander.. But she's not the best enchantment commander

Valgavoth is the perfect burn commander. It’s a bit “boring” I guess since it’s mainly just drawing cards in the command zone, but the Rakdos burn shell is so fun that I think it offsets it. Great game

Yeah. It's a little odd to me that there are merfolk in all 5 colors so there's a reason to want to have 5c. Bant is definitely the best 3c option. I kind of hope we get an open ended Bant creature types commander so that things like birds, merfolk, and humans can have a decent dedicated Bant commander.

Gotta say I wasn't very positive about Rakdos Valgavoth, but this video convinced me. The potential of 3 cards per round os amazing. If Valgavoth stays on field, the game can over very quickly.

Toby is probably my second favorite commander in the whole set (behind Kona cuz she just scratches my timmy itch lol). Either build him with blink/etb, or pretty much a mini moonshaker cavalry in the command zone.

Quick question, did Cameron have enough cards in deck to not draw out before he could create enough excess mana to use the Walking Ballista for 120 damage? Each time he looped he was drawing 2 cards. Generating 2 treasures each time? So he’d need to do the loop 60 times. I must be missing something. Sorry I don’t play any “artifact engine” decks. Or the assumption was that he had another target for KCI once he started drawing?

Yes, he'll use a different card to avoid needing to draw cards throughout the loop. Once you have your deck in hand, any piece that doesn't draw a card will work

Technically might stone and weak stone is not considered a double sided card (none of the meld cards are) and you can actually play it in a non UW deck because it doesn't recognize it has a back face because it's only half a card

Great game! Fun fact: the 5 cost effect on Urza is a reference to Temporal Aperature from Urza's Saga. The artifact has the exact same activated ability :)
