Built a buddy a deck that uses thoracle to win off a primal surge. Its pretty icky how much he can interact despite being all permanent cards and how quick he can win.

it won ONE of the two games against 3 decks that represented very little interaction, specifically the atraxa player drawing quite a few cards yet having no respone to the nadu player multiple turns in a row. in a high level cedh game with top tier decks nadu is good, but not any more broken than other cedh decks.

Displacer kitten, Bristly Bill, Roaring Earth, Scutes, Lost jitte (in particular), Bone Saw, Lightning Greaves, Unctus, Ashaya, Repulsive Mutation, March of the Swirling Mist. Those are all stupid strong with Nadu. To add more shit that I play, I usually run Lotus Cobra and 1 cost equips so if I'm stuck with one of those, I get 2 mana off of every non tap land ETBing so I can get 2 equip triggers off of each of those (technically). Running targeted protection is great. The usualls like Tamiyo safekeeping. also use Essence Flux, blossoming defense, Sylvan Safekeeper is fine because it's not like you are ever going to run out of lands so it definitely works if needed. Cards with multiple different effects to choose from are awesome. Archdruids charm us great because it's second mode has it target a creature, spree cards from OTJ are good like Three steps ahead. This was only the stuff I could think of off the top of my head in the span of 5 minutes. For arena specific card(s): Mythweaver Poq with ashaya and nadu out is a bit dumb, but make sure you cast ashaya first, then mythweaver, keep track of which one has it's Base ability grayed out, keep the one that doesn't, ashaya makes it a land, so it makes a copy of itself. Infinite landfall triggers (I think). To end the loop, sac the one with the text not grayed out. If done wrong, you deck yourself.

Think Ashling is definitely closer to an 8 than 6. 4 mana is no issue, and it even wins off of a resolved Fury Storm. Not sure if you need Twinflame or not, as the 4 red you get is all you need once it gets going.
