This is why it should not be seen as rude when you preemptively take out an opponent before they start to go off if they are playing a scary commander. You give them an inch and they'll take a mile and win the game

Yep, I let a player live who was on deaths door and I was so far ahead. Then that player without hesitation started his turn and killed me lol Never again.

Dragon typal was the thing that drew me to magic, my first deck being Miirym. Being able to make multiple non legendary copies of my favorite dragons, and ward for some protection, I wondered why my friends would be hitting me first lol

Yeah, that early necro turned out to be quite powerful, but the Saw in Half was also insane ... I don't play a whole lot of commander so I didn't really know what cards was considered over the top. (Oh, and I did lose the next game miserably)

Check the other lists, some of them have rhystic, ancient tomb, fierce/deflecting, jewelled lotus etc. Power was fine, he wasn't even dumping 20+ life into it to find combo pieces, just keep hand topped up.
