At 1:19:51, 1:41:36, and 1:45:48, Joel mentions concerns about a nefarious global agenda concerning Claus Schwab, Bill Gates, and population reduction/control. This is a topic that I completely failed to properly question or investigate during the interview itself. This is not a topic that I was aware of or primed for, but there appear to be multiple articles online highlighting conspiracy theories surrounding these topics. These are not my views, but the views of my guest. This does not detract from my guest's extensive expertise with cattle and regenerative farming.

Thanks Real_Pattern. I'm currently looking into bringing on someone from Wageningen to discuss this specifically. For those who need a quick link: tabledebates.org/sites/default/files/2022-04/Grazed%20and%20Confused%20summary.pdf p.s. My personal view is that if we are going to be eating meat, then the true cost of consumption should be `internalized', the level of consumption should be reduced (and mixed with alternatives), and production should aim to be ethical. That's why I'm interested in these ideas. You might also like this episode on Protein alternatives: kzbin.info/www/bejne/rIXGnXR3ab2Jb5o . Thanks for listening!

SPACE is not about distance, but about collectivity integrating a virtual structure. Its merely an idea than a thing, because a collective is a relation, which is a form or a concept. So HG is the right way to see space as what it is. A class of whats inside a certain area.

You are ignoring the forest for a myopic evaluation of the trees. How should the world’s resources, including labor, be distributed? Should it be based upon “rate of return calibrated by supply and demand”, or should they be shared - “from each according to his ability; to each according to his need”? Is greed the driving force of Capitalism? Does the word “rich” only have significance when compared to the word”poor”? Should “charity” be only an elective principal, selectively applied to those people or situations we identify with - or recognized as the price of membership in a shared human condition?

Economics is not a science; it is a philosophy mostly absent of ethics. One upon a time, philosophy meant 'philosophy and science', before they parted ways. split into [physics and metaphysics. Just because you use the science of math to analyze stocks using price, it doesn't mean you evaluate the underlying stock objectively.

The majority of Americans have no disposable income. They appear to now have plastic instead. Consumer Debt rose by $6 trillion since 2008. So abandoning the use of Currency seems pretty easy for those who never seem to have any? Farmers have worked their way into Holes for years to provide food for those around them. Most Americans appear smart enough to understand how the system could work. The Politicians would thin out quickly, The Wealthy would simply retire to their private islands to ignore everyone. The potential for a Free Education seems possible without Capitalism.

The relationship between capitalism and environmental sustainability is complex and contentious. Capitalism, defined by private ownership and the pursuit of profit, has undeniably driven significant economic growth, technological advancement, and improved living standards for millions around the world. However, its inherent characteristics can also lead to environmental degradation. This is primarily due to the system’s emphasis on continuous growth and profit maximization, which often results in the over-exploitation of natural resources and environmental harm. Under capitalism, businesses and industries seek to minimize costs and maximize profits, which can lead to practices that prioritize short-term financial gains over long-term environmental health. Deforestation, pollution, overfishing, and greenhouse gas emissions are just a few examples of how capitalist economies have contributed to environmental destruction. The pressure to maintain economic growth can encourage the extraction and use of finite natural resources at an unsustainable rate, resulting in ecosystem damage and contributing to climate change. The pursuit of growth in a capitalist economy often disregards the true costs of environmental damage known as externalities. For instance, companies may emit pollutants into the air or water without bearing the financial burden of cleaning up or mitigating the harm. This creates an economic system where the environment is treated as an expendable resource rather than a shared asset that needs to be protected. Without stringent regulations or the integration of sustainable practices, the market’s invisible hand may fail to account for the need to preserve ecological balance. That said, not all forms of capitalism are equally destructive, and there are models and strategies within capitalism that aim to mitigate environmental harm. The emergence of "green capitalism" seeks to harmonize profit-making with environmental sustainability by incorporating eco-friendly practices, investing in renewable energy, and supporting sustainable industries. Regulatory frameworks, consumer demand for sustainability, and shifts toward circular economies can push capitalism in a more environmentally responsible direction. However, critics argue that true sustainability may be incompatible with capitalism’s growth-oriented nature. The system’s emphasis on continuous expansion and resource consumption can make it difficult to implement deep, transformative changes that prioritize ecological stability over profit. Some advocate for alternative economic models, such as eco-socialism or degrowth, which aim to balance human well-being with ecological health and challenge the idea that endless growth is necessary or beneficial. In conclusion, while capitalism has spurred economic development and technological innovation, its structural incentives can lead to environmental destruction when profit is prioritized over sustainability. The extent of environmental damage depends on regulatory measures, consumer behavior, and the willingness of industries to adapt to greener practices. To reduce capitalism’s adverse impact on the environment, more robust policies and a shift in how we value natural resources and ecological systems are essential. Only by rethinking growth, recognizing environmental costs, and incorporating sustainable practices can we move toward an economic model that supports both human prosperity and environmental health.

Master class in Economic thinking & evolution of money systems.. down the ages.. ---- Where he didn't go, or finish - & which is my critique of this video - is what is/ was left out, unstated.. which should have been made explicit.. in the ultimate analysis.. That is something the he just lightly touched upon , glanced at, in various ways & contexts, when discussing crisis, crises, bankruptcy and such matters. ie BREAKDOWN. Of financial, monetary & economic systems. And hence social systems & societies which are human systems.. constructed systems - in reality existing fundamentally only & purely ....in the MIND of MAN. And the explicit reality or unreality - of such constructed & ephemeral systems, human system - RULES that we make.. that we use as the foundation of there systems.. that we construct. Nothing more. Nothing Less. Human constructs..ideas. Which define the bedrock of the present complex human monetary systems of mankind in modern societies of today.. Layer upon layer - of complexity - one upon the other.. built on top - or side by side - in this gigantic human framework..of RULES. That we are WRONG to treat as Immutable, unchangeable etc Everything.. in my view & understanding - in Money systems - is & must be MUTABLE, CHANGEABLE, DESTRUCTIBLE.. etc even the concept of VALUE. __ What he hinted at, and mentioned obliquely - was destruction of monetary systems. Even the oldest known money & monetary systems .. were based on the IDEA & basic enshrined Principle - of Debt, Obligation or Owing something to someone. That is the Fundamental human construct of modern systems of money. That itself is anchored on a set of Rules .. made into a system - called a LEGAL SYSTEM. Which is a human construct.. to help a society to function. So Legal Systems construct also RIGHTS. to go along with Ibligations or OWING Something (Debt or Obligation) to someone.. who Has a Right to collect or recover that Debt. Ancient socities also developed a system of Debt Forgiveness OR Jubilee / Debt Jubilee.. when every so many years, all long outstanding debts were forgiven or nullified.. made to zero. ZERO DEBT. THE MODEM SYSTEMS need that to be brought back to restore order, fairness & equity. The concept of UBI - Universal Basic Income - is also a way of addressing Equity.. and ability to live.. without Debt.. in a functioning society. The other point is - this wealth concentration in billionaires etc - shaan needs to be similarly addressed .. by society.. to redistribute this Wealth Or surplus value. OR to Hold that in TRUST for Society for use for the Betterment of society.. And sculpting a better society.. with more for all who use resources & surplus wisely & beneficially.. in the greater analysis.. for all. ---- That should be the direction of MONEY systems.. and even borrowing or debt or owing others.. value for something used from the future value creation by an individual. This is what the world must Go Towards.. in the future.. Access to value, stored value, surplus etc.. based on justification.. not on ownership or previous wealth or entitlement or Power.. or corruption. Transparently ! _ Lastly -the argument on how English & then Chinese more recently - has allowed weaith creation & Wealth extraction easily.. which Europe has been unable to do/ create.. and had lost out on.. in being unable to create say these new Tech Platforms..& to scale these up.. including how they have gained power in AI .. to be the Top Dogs in this battle. And it is a battle. What he omits to say - & readers to paise & think - & understand.. that all this is created AGAIN - on an artificial system..of CONSTRUCTS. Human constructs.. based / anchored in systems again of LAW, a fictional human construct.. used to allow societies to function. smoothly.. BUT also used in modern societies in a Predatory WAY By Constructs Like PATENTS, INVENTIONS, Rights - human ownership rights - in these things, these human constructs.. with what we define as having a life, finite or longer.. Which are then used by predators to block or stiffle or restrict experimentation, New ideas, variants & value creation into the future. THAT or THESE have restrained the Europeans.. in their leadership..loss even though they have had brilliant inventors, ideas, thinkers, engineers, scientists & also Tech creators.. in the 20th century incl AI. The best example(s) being : # their invention & creation of electronic music forms - esp the MP3 file definition.. that they didn't patent.. in Germany. Which caught fire in N America & Started this avalanche of file structures & CODECS for audio first, & then video etc etc - electronic files.. Had Germany's institutions patented these they would be sitting in clover.. today. But European systems have not been appropriative.. bent on ownership & other constructs as Rights & protections. Read this story - www.google.com/m?hl=en-US&ie=UTF-8&source=android-browser&q=Book+on+the+MP3+invention+story&client=ms-android-vivo-rev1 ___ The OTHER EXAMPLE OF European Ingenuity..& social use - serendipity - its the story of how Radio telephony was pioneered in the remote Scandinavian regions.. to keep in touch with family & society while out in the wilds for days. Led to advances - that led to the mobile phone pioneers - Ericsson, Nokia & others . whichb became global Telecon giants.. Luckily eg Nokia etc did create hundreds of patents .. that continue to Enrich their shareholders .. as most modern systems are built on the shoulders of the past designs, patents, ideas, standards &; technical standards & base technologies - on which more modern technologies depend/ rely on... so that today's tech pioneers do not have to reinvent the wheel ..so to say..b but can build on the past ideas ...& use these.. to build future technologies, & advancements. Again, as I emphasise - these are ALL human creations.. We Own Nothing We come with nothing We leave & take nothing with us.. when we move on.. in existence.. -- In some sense that was also what Yanis Varoufakis was ultimately indirectly referring to.. when asked at the End . what makes him happy.. He said what takes him outside himself.. like music etc.. makes him forget. himself etc TOO TRUE Existential Question & Response C'est la vie 🍀🎯⚖💰

What I found utterly absurd is that it took so long for anyone (in industry or otherwise) to realize that the daily pumping of toxic gases into the atmosphere would have dire consequences later. Proof that we are NOT The intelligent species. We have allowed companies/individuals to profit while at same time contributing to the destruction of the only home we know. Where are the intellectuals in positions to influence and impact positively on the things that affect all of us? It’s always after the body bags that things are addressed. Sometimes, too late.
