I don’t believe it’s a KTA engine it’s not an xl hood there wouldn’t be enough room cause the deep radiator

She’s a beauty. Would have been nice to see under the hood and better views of the cab.

I like the front bumper it doesn't scrape the road and there's a place to hang the plates.

I grew up around cabovers like this in the 70's. My dad was independent for years. He swore by a Mack. One was a F700/V8 like this. Then later, an 84 CruiseLiner. One may think those old trucks were slow. But they'd be dead wrong on that!!

Great truck,nice looking dog. If it is a V8 then it has the rare engine END864 or 865,the predecessors of the E9 500.

It doesn't have to be Peterbilt or Kenworth in order to be a proper truck. Looks lovely.

The cab was too small or they might have sold better. I don't know what they were thinking when they designed it but truckers like some room. Also, too much grill.
@MrJodyh54 Жыл бұрын
Nobody wanted to drive them after the 65 ft law went out and they were discontinued, now everyone wants a cabover.

Had two of these back in 1982. Although they were really good looking trucks they were junk. The front ends were wicked flimsy and were constant problems. Those trucks would literally fall apart. GMC never produced a quality class 8 truck which is why they didn’t last long in the heavy duty trucking business. My father owned a lumber business and had quite a few ten and six wheel trucks and it was the same with them. Too bad because like I said those generals were really good looking.

Boy, that is a beautiful combo. I must say though, if she were my truck, I would either try to fit the A/C internals into an old 1970's cab-top style truck A/C housing or have someone fabricate an old-style looking closure to tie the looks of that air conditioner to the rest of the truck.

That's aint that a beautiful rig? This is what I'm talking about these rigs like this are still on the road, working people are going to violent these rigs and yours and junkyards everything. This is what I mean by making America great this year is what I'm a true America is not no stupid Red Hat. A Red Hat's don't have no verification in America. Erica America's put on the backs of the ax of African Americans. And it's working people of America. All working people. This is what america is about the brotherhood of truckers

O-H-I-O Porter greetings 🇺🇸 Those old Mack cabovers had lots of style & character! Cabovers Rule! Clean, smooth, lots of pretty curves! Maybe not too big on power, but would definitely get the job done! Sweet looking ride! Thanks for sharing! 🥰🤩✌️
