You can find out more about the manufacturing methods in our application report: www.silverson.co.uk/en/resource-library/application-reports/dispersion-and-hydration-of-carbopol-uk#process In this video, we are showing Carbopol being dispersed into water only. It can also be dispersed into oils and solvents. It also depends on the grade of Carbopol you are using, while some grades display no significant increase in viscosity until neutralised, others start to thicken immediately.

Hello, there could be lots of reasons for this foaming, we manufacture the high shear mixers so we are unable to comment on the ingredients.
