I ran the GPS the rear (50/50 mode) and the Dual Venture on the front for a 7500 mile ride from Montana to Prudhoe Bay and back and then on to Illinois. Both ran great for the entire trip at any speed. The only really sketchy part was a steel deck bridge that I thought was going to throw me off the bike with such an extreme wobble. Also, the front tire was extremely noisy, drawing attention from onlookers everywhere. At the end of the trip, the front was totally used up and I would guess that I have 3000+ miles left of the rear. This was on a 1250 GSA.

Enjoy your videos. I went from riding a KTM 300 2 stroke on technical rocky single track to a KTM 890 adv r bike, still have more fun on the 300 XC. I'll say it was an easy transition. All about momentum. When stuff looks scary Stand up, compress forks and momentum. Cover the clutch so you don't loop out. We get the weight of the bikes get in our heads and we go down. Keep it up. I'm 51 in a couple months and ride with peeps 20 yrs younger than me. Hope to keep doing this another 20 yrs.

@@jasonbehr7144 I'm not ready to give up enduro riding just yet(I'm only 57 😉)... I only like to have bikes in my stable for the type of riding I do. 90% of my riding is off-road on a 2stroke KTM 300XCw. The other 10% is two up road touring with my wife on an 18' Honda Goldwing Tour. Anyway, I feel like someday I'll have to transition to more ADV riding. Once you got on the hill of that second climb you didn't do too bad. You kept decent momentum and kept control over a few rough spots. I have a question... If this is a "training" session, why is it that the "trainers" are out in front of you, with no idea of what you're doing right or wrong? They seem more interested in enjoying their ride and the views than instructing.... 🤔

@lifesjourneyat50 Makes sense. I had some valving done on my Tuareg forks which was an improvement. Not sure I'm riding it hard enough yet to know if I need a bigger upgrade. I did buy a Woody's front wheel after constant spoke tuning and eventually breaking one in Baja. The narrower rim feels better....I highly recommend. Glad to see you are getting back on the Tuareg.
