If you gotta question yourself if you are straight in the middle of screwing, you aren’t straight. 😂

When I set my saw up. When I place it on the tracks the blade is in the red guide part...
@milescraft11 күн бұрын
The TrackSawGuide rails need to calibrated to your blade. You can find instructions on that on page 7 of our manual here: milescraft.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/1409-TrackSawGuide-Manual-11.25.24.pdf. And this video shows how to replace the guide strips but also goes into trimming them when you set up the TrackSawGuide: instagram.com/p/C9VKDpgAz31/.

I’m enjoying mine. I find that the measurements given for the layout board are an okay starting point but I’m fine tuning as I go. I’ve discovered that the centre of the pattern page makes the centre line of the workpiece 18” up from the bottom of the board. I adjust my patterns and pieces from there.

You should design same vise with same mid spacer which can hold both wood from left end not clamp on table, so setup requirment would be minimum

Do you have a link to buy extra drill bits? It would be more convenient in a workshop to just keep several different bits, each with its bit-stop set to a different commonly used board thickness. Thanks!

Yes, we have several drill bits available here: milescraft.com/product-category/drilling/drill-attachments/.

I own two track saws totally different purposes. One is a festool TS75 and thats specifically for woodworking and fabrication and its a wonderful tool but primarily stays in my shop. My other is a cordless ryobi saw which I got the saw, a 4ah battery, track and charger for 218$ after tax two years ago and its for on site work and is for quick straight cuts. There is nothing inherently wrong with this kit and I love milescraft stuff but it doesn't really serve either purpose that I have found I use 99% of my track saw cuts for. I either use it for the convience of a quick and easy straight cut on material that's too akward for a table saw on site or my shop saw is nearly dust free (and even the ryobi mostly is if I hook up my ct midi to it) and is for extremely precise and sometimes complex cuts. Before having them I would just use a quick connecting straight edge because at least with them you dont lose your saw because with the time it would take to setup and remove the attachments and everything you may as well have two circular saws. I get also people being on a budget but I just feel like you could invest the money into other tools or waiting would be a much better use of funds. I have tried out about 10-12 track saws in total and while the quality or some small features are a bit different between them just about all will give you a better experience than this.

I bought one but I wish the black base was made out of light Aluminum metal instead of plastic. Securing down those two arms was just putting too much stress on the plastic part in my opinion having confidence to make sure the saw is secure and it won't move while you are cutting.

The dowel keeps the breadboard pinned tight against the table top. The elongated hole allow the dowel to move side to side with wood movement.

Do you plan to release a track saw square system that is compatible with this track saw guide? It looks like none of the available systems from TSO or any of the other cheapo manufacturers on Amazon are compatible. Would love to have a square jig to use with this.

Hi! We have received a lot of interested in a track saw square and have passed that feedback along to our product development team. At this time we do not but possibly in the future. Thanks!

@jacoblater6253Ай бұрын
They do not show you adjusting it. It dies not slide easy at all. You have to Fock with it like crazy when trying to adjust. The curved side does not slide or move easily at all. Now unless I’m doing some wrong? I would not recommend this feather board.
@tommco17 күн бұрын
I found a way around this. First, move your fence about 1/8" to the right of where you want to make your cut. Put your board in between the fence and the featherboard, and tighten the featherboard to just touch the board square. Now, take your board out and move your fence back to the left about 1/8", to your cut line (easier to use a pre-set layout jig or steel rule rather than your board itself to make sure your fence is set to your cut line). Do a dry fit; the short feather should now just touch the board and the other feathers should have the appropriate tension, and be square as well.
