My Dad went to work for Sea Star Boats in Monmouth Illinois in 1963. At first as plant supervisor, in 1969 he was made President and changed the name in 1974 to Mach 1. He bought the company in 1985 and sold it in 1991. He went on to own, build Envision Boats until he passed in 1996. My Dad Bill Felt had me rolling around in Fiberglass when I was 5 lol. Little history for y'all. Great video and memories.

The amount of women I've met in my life who look like the operator lady is truly unsettling. Here in 2025 you may think that's someone being goofy, but women really did look like that on purpose at one time.

Reached #21 on the Billboard Adult Top 40 Chart in 1997. Reminds me of driving around Austin, early fall 1997 when this song was on several radio stations for weeks. Back when Austin still had an electric music vibe in the air. You could see really great bands at night in downtown Austin and not worry about getting hassled by a bunch of vagrants on the way back to your car. That was before California style politics ruined the city.

TRAGICALLY underappreciated band!!!!! Harrison is brilliant. Period. C.I.K. is one of my very fave albums of all time. This crap today is making people rich, and not him?! Pitiful.

in the early 2000s I was lucky enough to be a student in one of Mr. Pool's audio engineering classes at a studio in Irving, TX. he was a fascinating and interesting character and connected well with the class of younger students. glad this is still here to listen to!

I arrived in 1984, while Austin was still very segregated, delineated by IH35. Times have changed both upward and down in so many ways. Sad to see it, but I got to be part of the changes in East Austin from 85-96 when I left to try the small-town life of Gonzales, Texas, instead and spend some time with my son away from the city life. Never would go to live there again, especially now. I Left Gonzales to rest in Salvage, Texas for the next leg. Best nest of all. Loved Austin in my 30s... not now.

My dad (b. 1928) loved all of Bob Wills' music! He used to sing this song (and others) to me, when I was a little bitty girl in the early 1960s! He'd pick me up and we'd dance around the room! Good times, great memories!
