At the time that this episode aired, The Nova Sax Quartet consisted of Richard Lawn - Alto Sax, Douglas Skinner - Soprano Sax, Gregory Wilson - Tenor Sax, and Joey Colalusso - Bari Sax. The Nova Sax Quartet has recorded on the Musical Heritage Society, Crystal, and Equilibrium labels. The Nova Sax Quartet's Performance begins with them playing "Quartet For Saxophones" by Seymour Barab. "Quartet For Saxophones" was released on The Nova Sax Quartet's 1986 album, InNOVAtions. The performance ends with two songs from The Nova Sax Quartet's recently released album, Outside The Box.
