Could you please play both for me, 18 holes on both if possible? 1) Woodbridge Golf Club Suffolk England IP12 2PF 2) Benton Hall Golf Club Witham ENGLAND CM8 3LH Thank you so much in advance if you can do this for me. Thank you very much for showing off my homecourse! You were playing the champion tees which are not much longer than the men’s tees (yellow). It’s just quite a long course. Being able to practice local courses is a big plus for me and I was very interested in how accurate the course is depicted. Basic hole layout is on point but (at least for this course) it lacks quite a bit of slopes/hills etc.. Hole 2 and the island approach on Hole 4 do have quite the downhill slope irl. Again many thanks - this video was incredibly helpful.

I don't know how familiar you are with Hometown Hero, but my experience is 90% of my shots go right with a big fade. When I switch to Awesome Golf or E6 my normal straight/baby draw is the flight. I usually give up on Hometown Hero after 6 holes and play in other software. I discontinued my subscription because of it. I play with the R10 too fyi.
@justinsobojinski6 күн бұрын
I had the r10 when it first came out but quickly returned it because it didn't work well in my space, and I didn't care for how cartoonish home tee hero was on it. But with the r50 I can say home tee hero looks a lot better, and my shots are doing what I think they should be doing based on how I hit the ball.

About sand traps near the greens with Home T Hero if we use this method The method to practice in winter: a towel is folded in half, a ball is placed on it, a swing is made and if the towel moves forward, the shot is successful. See." How to practice bunker shots without any sand" by the golf doctor Can the laser from Home T Hero take the shot Thank you. Alain Jacob

Thanks for playing it my man. The layout of the course is basically perfect except there are no trees visible on hole 6. There is just dead area all the way down from the tee to about 20 yards short of the fairway and it's a super big drop down to the fairway. If Garmin would even step up the software to the skytrak or Square golf graphics they'd have a ridiculous product.

Welcome, and I agree if they can improve the graphics further this would be hard to beat.

As I've never played on a golf simulator, I have the following questions: How is a course on a golf simulator realistic compared to a natural golf course? I see that when you play from the rough you take a club that allows you to reach 10 yards further. If you're in a sand trap, you reduce the strength of the shot and never play the shot as it should be played. In short, you're simply making a chip. How do you fly over a course to stop on a particular hole? Thank you. Alain Jacob
@justinsobojinski8 күн бұрын
As far as realism goes, I think a lot of that will depend on that mat you have, and I think my current mat is better than my old mat, but I don't think any simulator will compare to the real thing. However, I lost probably at least 4 months of golfing outside during winter, so I think a sim is a great alternative. For Home Tee Hero, there is a little box that tells me how much the shot will penalized for distance, but for GSPro I don't think it tells you that until after you hit your shot. Bunkers definitely are not realistic. I'm actually pretty good out of bunkers and on a sim it is definitely more of a chip shot (but I need work on those, so that's ok!) For Home Tee Hero it does a flyover of every hole before you play it, and if I want to skip to the next hole I have to select the option to pick up my ball (which also adds 10 strokes to my scorecard).
