After using it for some time do you still recommend plastidip? I imagine it would tear more easily when scratched than regular paint on primer, no?
@BoundlessFlux
@BoundlessFlux 15 сағат бұрын
That’s right - it would have a tendency to peel more than regular paint. Either could be improved if you scuff up the surface before paint to avoid that happening. In that case it’s the final texture of the finish that I like more with the plastidip but for pure aesthetics paint is a safer bet. Heck even a clear finish coat.

Do you feel the position is awkward for benching with the lower support bar restricting how far back the bench can go?
@BoundlessFlux
@BoundlessFlux Күн бұрын
Not in the flat position but for sure once you start to incline the bench. You would need to move out to the front with spotter arms. If the lat pulldown thing wasn’t there I could scoot the bench further back (assuming I don’t hit my wall lol).

If you have cables on the back of the rack with a low row why not connect the cables to that leg extension instead of using the bumpers? You would get a much more uniform power curve by not using the circular motion of the weight
@BoundlessFlux
@BoundlessFlux 4 күн бұрын
That’s a great idea! Thanks - I need to come up with a better seating situation that’ll let me pass that cable through and keep it centered. Other than that I’m sure I can easily add something to the leg ext to allow for clipping the cable nice and quick.
@tpahenriques

Why don’t you just create a square to be placed horizontally with some cloths covering the space and a triangle on each corner to hold it horizontally, perpendicular to the attachment to the rack

How is the bar holding up? I have a chrome plated bar that’s in really bad shape since it’s been outside. Ideally I’d like to get rid of it.
@BoundlessFlux
@BoundlessFlux 5 күн бұрын
Bar is great, just needs a touch up every couple month if I even care to keep it looking spiffy. But no more rust which was the main goal. Chrome plating is tough, idk if paint would adhere well. You’d prob need to scuff it all up first which might be more work than you want.

I know this is video was made a while back. Don’t know what to do. I’ve had the car for two weeks. They called me told me to come in and re-sign the contract. I do not want to resign. The vehicle is an EV with bad batteries turns out it’s gonna cost $17-$20,000 to replace the batteries I’ve only had it for two weeks, drove less than 300 miles thing is they already sold my trade-in what would be my options?
@BoundlessFlux

This sounds more complicated than the 10-day rule scam I went through. Sounds more like they sold you a lemon… in which case there are plenty of lemon law lawyers that would be able to help you. I’d look some up that practice in your state (ideally city) and give them a call. Sometimes they give free advice on your situation before you have to hire anyone formally.
@xstaycrunchy
@xstaycrunchy Ай бұрын
Currently going through the same situation. It been 27 days since I singed the contract. I just received a letter let me know that I have to return the vehicle because the bank they do business with will not approve my loan. I have yet to receive any information on how to make a payment. I called them and they said they want me to sing a new contract. I just emailed them stating that the contract specifically says they have 10 days to notify me. The letter was sent 2 days ago however they marked the paper with the date of my purchase. I don’t know if this fraud on their part.
@BoundlessFlux
@BoundlessFlux Ай бұрын
The date that matters is the date you signed. That’s the contract. As for notifying you, they can’t backdate a letter - that’s wild. Without proof of reasonable attempt to contact you within those 10 business days, they’re at fault (from the little I know here assuming the typical scam I talked about). So they have to honor the terms you signed regardless of the bank. Hopefully you can make a good enough case that they back off and you don’t actually need a layer to threaten them (why incur that expense). Good luck!

Thanks for the video, I bought this bench on Amazon with doubts if it is really good, it looks like it has strong and resistant steel, I saw other lower priced benches with negative comments for stability. I also decided on this bench because my height is 6ft. This bank is just a few days away from arriving at my house, I hope it's worth it because I think the price I paid was expensive, 220 dollars and 35 for shipping to Mexico. I'm starting to do my gym at home.

Is the full decline good enough for sit ups? Or would you say it would be best going for a actual sit ups bench set up
@BoundlessFlux
@BoundlessFlux 2 ай бұрын
Never thought of that but funny enough I’m working out as I saw this so I tried it… and I think you get a good enough stretch but the gap between the cushion sections isn’t too comfortable so I’d probably pad it with something if I were to do sit-ups on this bench.

@@BoundlessFlux Thanks for the reply, From what I have just been researching the seat and foot rest are adjustable in the 3 different levels is that right? And if so does adjusting the seat make it anymore comfortabler for sit ups?
@BoundlessFlux
@BoundlessFlux 2 ай бұрын
I was in the middle of a set so I didn’t do that but just tried it and, yes, a vast improvement. Still feel the gap a bit which I expect could be uncomfortable after a while on the bum but again you could pad it if it bothered you. I keep thin pads around for other purposes in my gym so it’s an easy fix personally. Hope this helps!

Hey there! I’m a fan of waist bags, fanny packs, sling bags, all bags really. I’ve really started to invest more in the PR line because of the quality of the product and how it motivates you to workout more. This would be a great addition to my EDC (everyday carry) and even for the gym when I’m doing cardio or even traveling on a day trip. Love the review and I hope to win this bag!

I picked up the duffle bag backpack today after watching your video on it and was surprised my the quality. Its amazing. I have had a hard time finding a backpack that does not irritate where my chemo port used to be. And when I wore this bag around today with my usual stuff in it, I found it to be fairly comfortable. I started looking at the sling bag because I walk around a lot for work and have a hard time carrying my work stuff with me. Since I don't need a backpack because its not a lot of stuff, I was thinking of using a sling back. and after watching your review, I might pick one up too. thanks you!

Hmmm... Water is NOT good inside the collars! The bearings would rust and get all clogged. Aside from this, the long term follow-up would be interesting to see how the paint held up. Great work removing all the corrosion though!

You’re welcome! Hmm probably just a durability/experience thing. No paint we can buy/apply will match a factory finish. They likely want you to pay for their finish options and have the best look and quality. I not only enjoy the diy process but as you saw I bought the bar used and it was in rough shape.
