Nice setup. Where did you get your all in one rack ? I'm looking online &they vary dramatically in price

Thanks for the video, I bought this bench on Amazon with doubts if it is really good, it looks like it has strong and resistant steel, I saw other lower priced benches with negative comments for stability. I also decided on this bench because my height is 6ft. This bank is just a few days away from arriving at my house, I hope it's worth it because I think the price I paid was expensive, 220 dollars and 35 for shipping to Mexico. I'm starting to do my gym at home.

Been loking at this bench, how tall are you? Im 6'4" and having trouble finding a bench long enough on a budget
@BoundlessFlux10 ай бұрын
5’11” - I do have find that I have more head room esp when it’s flat. So I measured and from the top of the head cushion to the bottom of the back cushion is 33”. That’s where it pivots and there’s a gap when flat before the booty cushion. Hopefully that helps if you measure from your tailbone to the back of your head might give you a better idea of where it would rest on you.

Funny I was looking at this bench too for a quick outside home gym setup. Hard to find anyone pushing it to its limits, I wonder if you think it can hold about 500lbs? 200lb body weight and a 300lb bench is what I'd need. I know amazon says the capacity is 660lbs but I am skeptical.

Hmm I expect the company rounds down as a precaution when it comes to capacity but ya never know… I’m currently benching as I reply here and I’m unable to confirm those number for you lol not that strong (yet). Lmk what you end up going with!

@@BoundlessFlux I went with the budget Rep bench just to be sure. Seems like rally good quality.

@@AppalachianPaisano hey fellow YT user. You need to check the owner/product manual for all these benches. Some state a figure (weight) online and in the manual its lower. A lot of products do this actually, like portable batteries. Yeah, its not right. Hope this comment helps u avoid injuries 👍

Fantastic, it looks like new still.

Would this be ok for using dumbbells, 6ft 1 guy?

Is the full decline good enough for sit ups? Or would you say it would be best going for a actual sit ups bench set up
@BoundlessFlux7 ай бұрын
Never thought of that but funny enough I’m working out as I saw this so I tried it… and I think you get a good enough stretch but the gap between the cushion sections isn’t too comfortable so I’d probably pad it with something if I were to do sit-ups on this bench.
@LFC-di4fp7 ай бұрын
@@BoundlessFlux Thanks for the reply, From what I have just been researching the seat and foot rest are adjustable in the 3 different levels is that right? And if so does adjusting the seat make it anymore comfortabler for sit ups?
@BoundlessFlux7 ай бұрын
I was in the middle of a set so I didn’t do that but just tried it and, yes, a vast improvement. Still feel the gap a bit which I expect could be uncomfortable after a while on the bum but again you could pad it if it bothered you. I keep thin pads around for other purposes in my gym so it’s an easy fix personally. Hope this helps!

How wobbly is it/stable ? Also how is it holding up 4 motnhs later ?
@BoundlessFlux Жыл бұрын
It’s a bit wobbly but not unstable (if that makes sense). Part of that for me is the slight pitch in my garage making it a little difficult to level the bench in the direction I have it positioned. Only the legs at the head are adjustable but not the feet which is odd but for the price I expected trade offs. Overall it’s held up perfectly.

Do you think that the length of the bench might be a concern
@BoundlessFlux10 ай бұрын
Yes technically for my current setup. If I want to bench flat or on the first notch of incline, it’s fine to do inside the cage. However once I start to increase the incline, it no longer works based on where my j hooks are. So I need to scoot the bench to the outside front of the cage and buy some spotter arms for safety. I just haven’t gotten around to that yet. I’m tight on space currently in the garage.
