Thanks for the update with so much adjustability I guess it can be challenging to get the set up right for different riders and conditions. Looks like a real contender now

@BlownMacTruck2 күн бұрын
Ok? That’s literally a stock Magnetic board. You copied the specs from the page. That’s not DIY. Do you even know what those specs mean?
@HaunchoJackHDКүн бұрын
@ I was saying that this board is a good buy compared to one that’s more performance and similar price . And it is diy because you don’t have to get the base options . Mine has 4 motors and 18s4p now and goes 80 so calm down
@BlownMacTruckКүн бұрын
@@HaunchoJackHD Yeah, that’s not what DIY means. Come back when you actually know how to configure your Solo ESCs.

Why was the board not setup like this at factory?
@stellading9317Күн бұрын
A board setup from factory cannot meet everyone’s needs perfectly. Once you receive your board, it’s important to make adjustments based on your weight and riding style to truly make it "your" board.

Horizon vs z3? I find the clearance of this one is much lower, and the z3 would be better for off road. Am I mistaken?

Well I'm glad that fixed it. I'm wondering if they're going to sell stiffer spring sets in the future, or if they'll be reasonably easy to find aftermarket at some point. Also, 14s8p 100-0 range test? Man, my feet would give up halfway through. Good luck!

How do you think it compares to the lorentz major v2? I remember you said that was nearly the perfect board. Which one do you feel rides better?
@HaunchoJackHD3 күн бұрын
V2 is more agile and less powerful but could be better on a track for tight corners , horizon is better for just a power house that is jack of all trades minus handling

This board is too small, too flat and too heavy for convenient and safe riding. I’ve sold mine just after 30km. No matters how powerful it is. Riding such small board on high speeds is incredibly dangerous.

Aiden should ship the Ultra X Pro with the gear drive. I absolutely love that board. But, I don't want to fuss with the installation. I'd rather just by another one with gear drive. 😂🤣😂🤣 Scotty, Thanks for the great review! Cheers 🍻

@scottdaviesyoutube5 күн бұрын
Maybe check how tight you run them, I’ve never broken a belt (touch wood) you went about 2-4mm of play in the belt Basically as loose as possible without them skipping
@MrJellybeen5 күн бұрын
Is gear quieter than belt
@scottdaviesyoutube5 күн бұрын
Depends on the gear drive This one is a little louder as it’s all steel and quite small so it had a certain sound to it. Not over the top but it is a little louder
@ryangarrahy31065 күн бұрын
Damn, might have to upgrade from the pro which I bought from you. How much louder is the max would you say mate? Acceptable or way louder?

Best review yet, thanks!...but if you're considering buying, please read first! Maxfind lied about the motors. Both the FF Plus and the FF AT are 1200W motors but with different battery configuration. Which drains the battery suuuper quick having to overclock/max out the battery to achieve a 1500W output. Maybe they sent these guys one with a real 1500W motor 🤷♂️ but according to Maxfind's customer service the FF Plus and FF AT now have the same exact motor now despite still advertising the FF AT as having an upgraded motor. Good luck riding this thing long term without blowing out the motor. I already feel the motor vibrating occasionally on max speed setting. Does NOT roll freely when turned off (if your battery dies you will be walking home with a heavy board on wheels that are resisting you and making that whirring motor sound when they turn). The braking in 4th gear is harsh and dangerous. The smooth braking only happens in 3rd gear and below. You can get used to it but you've been warned. The battery cover/seal comes up constantly when riding on bumpy terrain because it's sealed with a quarter turn plastic lock...waterproof of IPX5 is irrelevant with this 😂 it's basically a nice little pool for water to settle into if it rains. Also the rubber "seal" going around the cover is too small diameter so it doesnt actually make contact with board/cover making it useless as a waterproofing even if the cover stayed on. The wheels are just as hard as polyurethane wheels of probably 90 or so duro. TL;DR get the cheaper FF Plus. They are basically the same but the FF AT has an upgraded battery that basically just enables the 4th gear. Or spend a little more and get the Ranger from Backfire (I wish I did) or whatever other hub motor all terrain board you can find. Lastly, they will not let me post a review on their page unless the review is 4 stars or higher and is overall positive. In case anyone is wondering how they have such high ratings lol

The new MBS Agent board... Possibly the best board released this year but also the worst value. On one hand, kind of a dream board. On the other hand, it has half as much range as anything else near its price.
@ddkuo10 күн бұрын
still no board has better charging port design than TYNEE. Hands down the best there is. Compliant Mechanism so it’s durable, never pops out by itself and EASY AF to put it back. Every board should adopt this design.

Hey mate random question. How do you loosen the trucks on the z3? Cheers
@SinCityEsk810 күн бұрын
Best production board of 2024 goes to radium with the mach one, easy choice. Theres nothing out there like it imo. And the worst board of 2024 is the hoyt tabor due to multiple factors including over priced, over engineered parts, deck easily splits at mounting points for the trucks,etc etc etc.
@lordirek110 күн бұрын
Haven't ridden them yet, but best is either NYX Z3 or maybe the Horizon (I know you aren't a fan of the trucks though). Worst is any of the fly-by-night Amazon bs boards. I like the Veymax, I wish acedeck still made the Stella Mini.

From what I've seen on KZbin, I really like the Raduim Mach One. With my limited exposure to actually riding boards, I got to ride the Evolve Diablo range, and I really liked the Bamboo. I thought I would like the Renegade more. I own a Hadean Carbon and a first gen Stoke.

I’m gonna go with the nomad N3 for the best board of 2024. I’ve already put close to 2,000 miles on my gear drive version. In my opinion having the affordable belt drive version available is a big bang for your buck. The Linnpower evo MK1 pro also deserves the best board of 2024! Also I think the backfire nalu with the 99WH battery was the worst. Nothing worse than having your ESK8 burst into flames 🔥😵💫
