Just a notion was only shelved because all other tracks on voulez-vous ..at the same time where felt to dance / disco'ee for " just a notion ..to make it on the album. Just shelved in 79 for later release = as in now ....loads of love ....little mickee freedom , Deptford Village, south =east, London . 🌈💚💕😇

This is reedited since 1978 when it first was made but not released. Some voice additions are made for instance in the end. Some instruments in 1978 version aren't there anymore but are exchanged with more piano and strings. I'm in the same age as Benny 1946 Björn and Anni-Frid 1945 and Agneta 1950. I've followed and listened to them since the 60-ies.ABBA was started 1972. Before that Benny played in The Hepstars and Björn i Hootenanny Singers and the girls in different dancebands. Frida started 14-years old and sang mostly jazz back then. All four are very down to earth in spite their fame and fortune and talent. Agnetha has produced records with her tones and lyrics.

God, I love this track! ABBA's "Just A Notion" is a perfect combination of classic ABBA, 1960's-era Phil Spector, & Motown all wrapped into one glorious masterpiece. It's my favorite track from "Voyage", and my favorite ABBA track EVER! Totally irresistible! Cannot stop playing it!!!

Ich mag deine Reaktion auf den ABBA Song "Just a Notion" , weil es mir beim ersten Mal hören, ähnlich wie die ergangen ist. Ich war begeistert und höre den Song immer wieder und wieder. Ich bin viel älter als du. ABBA war ein wesentlicher Teil meiner Jugend. Mitte der 70er Jahre war ich 10 Jahre alt. Agnetha war so sexy, die Musik war damals schon göttlich, genial. Ähnlich wie bei bei dir lösen ABBA bei sehr vielen Menschen eine wunderbares Gefühl der unbeschwerten Glückseligkeit aus. Ich habe mir am 05.11.2021 das neue ABBA Album "Voyage". Ich liebe alle neuen Songs. Eine Achterbahn der Gefühle. Ich würde so gerne mehr von ABBA hören. Viel mehr,... Die Hoffnung stirbt bekanntlich zuletzt, gut Ding braucht Weile. Love love love seeing The Visitors behind you. I am so excited about this album. I am a huge fan. This completely took me by surprise. I never thought this would happen in my lifetime. I bought (ordered) the vinyl. Hoping it comes quickly on 5th or 6th. I don’t know if I can wait. I want to experience holding the cover and inside sleeve. If it doesn’t come quickly, I’ll stream it. In these times of Pandemic strife, Abba's new songs elevate me back to the 70's in a way I put aside today's issues, if even a short while . This song is so well done and the girls vocals are unbelievable for their age. The whole production is very high end. This song seems to have the most western influence I've ever heard of all their songs. Love love love it. Very nostalgic.

If you’d like a foretaste of what ABBA would have sounded like in the 80s had they continued as a group, I recommend you checking out the original concept album for Chess. It’s a rock opera created by Benny and Björn along with Tim Rice (the lyricist of The Lion King) right after ABBA had disbanded. The score is just magnificent, all the songs are bops. You won’t regret it!
